The selected candidate must reside on site as a condition of employment.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">This is a unique live-in opportunity ideal for someone</span> who works or attends school during the day and is looking for affordable housing with light overnight responsibilities. Most shifts are quiet, with occasional calls to support resident safety.<br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Position Summary:</span> We are seeking a dependable, calm, and safety-focused On-Call Emergency Responder to support adults in our Independent Living Program during after-hours emergencies. This role includes affordable housing, paid response time, and structured on-call coverage.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Schedule:</span> Monday - Friday (Overnight Daily) from 6:00 PM to 7:00 AM, and weekend from Friday 6:00 PM to Monday 7:00 AM. Coverage for this role follows a rotating schedule of two weeks on, followed by two weeks off. Emergency on-call coverage is required during scheduled hours. <br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Compensation Highlights:</span> This role includes housing assistance with a one-bedroom apartment provided in Castle Rock, CO.</p>\n<ul>\n<li>The employee rent responsibility is $950 per month, and electric, gas, water, and trash &amp; Internet are included.</li>\n<li>Employees are paid for all emergency response time and clock in when taking calls, responding in person, completing follow-up, or documentation.</li>\n<li>In addition, employees receive a flat rate equivalent to 8 hours of pay for weekend on-call coverage, paid in addition to any hours worked responding to emergencies.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Core Responsibilities:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Respond to after-hours emergencies to ensure participant health and safety</li>\n<li>Communicate with medical staff, families, and leadership as needed</li>\n<li>Accurately document calls, actions taken, and time worked</li>\n<li>Remain calm, professional, and ready to respond during critical situations.<br><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Expectations During On-Call</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Answer/return emergency contacts within designated timeframes</li>\n<li>Log all call details and actions taken</li>\n<li>Maintain emergency phone battery and transport readiness</li>\n<li>Follow policy for sober and safe operation of duties, including driving</li>\n<li>Track and log all paid response time accurately</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Qualifications &amp; Skills: </span> </p>\n<ul>\n<li>High School Diploma or Equivalent required. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience working with the IDD community or other at-risk population  </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience working with EHR (Electronic Health Records)  </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Valid Driver’s license (required) </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Office and Electronic Charting Systems. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Must be able to pass a background check, drug screen and obtain DOT Certification. </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em>Wellspring Community is an equal opportunity employer.
