    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><strong>Job Description:&nbsp;</strong></p><p>The Vanpool Intern will assist the department with day-to-day duties as needed, such as performing annual vehicle site inspections of 400 vehicles at offsite locations and preparing follow-up reports to send to customers. The Intern will assist with other projects to create and update department documents and data collection spreadsheets for operational functions. Essential functions include:&nbsp;</p><ol><li>Conducting and assisting with vehicle inspections using FastField mobile application, which involves driving and creating follow-up emails to document and communicate results.&nbsp;</li><li>Assisting with creating and maintaining spreadsheets for data collection and the Contraction Information Collection Project.</li><li>Assisting with updating non-traditional groups’ monthly reports, ridership logs, and expense forms.</li><li>Assisting with traditional groups’ Route Sheet Project.</li><li>Assisting with other projects as assigned. &nbsp;</li></ol><p><strong>Internship Duration:&nbsp;</strong></p><p>Monday, June 1, 2026 – Friday, August 14, 2026</p><p><strong>Hours Per Week:&nbsp;</strong></p><p>Up to 37.5 Hours Per Week</p><p><strong>Rate of Pay:&nbsp;</strong></p><p>$21/hr</p><p><strong>Location:&nbsp;</strong></p><p>Vanpool Services, 14539 S. Depot Dr. Plainfield, IL 60544</p><p><strong>Working Conditions:&nbsp;</strong></p><p>This position is based in an office setting with standard office equipment. The typical work<span style=\"color:black;\"> schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm.</span> However, the business needs of Pace may result in work schedules outside the typical hours/workdays.</p><p><span>&nbsp;</span><strong>This position is not eligible for hybrid or remote telecommuting.&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><p><strong>Age:&nbsp;</strong></p><p>Must be 18 years of age or older.&nbsp;</p><p><span style=\"color:black;\"><strong>Certifications:</strong>&nbsp;</span></p><p><span style=\"color:black;\">Must possess a valid Driver’s License with a good driving record history.</span></p><p><strong>Education:&nbsp;</strong></p><p>High school diploma or equivalent. Must be currently enrolled in a 2-year or 4-year accredited college or university and working towards a degree in General Education, Business, Communications, Psychology, or other related field.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Proficiencies:&nbsp;</strong></p><p>Must demonstrate working knowledge and proficiency of Microsoft Office Suite applications.
