We offer a unique combination of government experience and facilities expertise that has helped us earn a position as one of the country’s leading integrated service providers.</p>\n<h2>Job Summary</h2>\n<p>EMCOR Government Services is seeking a talented <strong>Safety and Health Officer</strong> (SHO)  for the Operations and Maintenance (O&M) Services for the Medical Treatment Facilities of 96th Medical Group at <strong>Eglin Air Force Base, Florida. </strong></p>\n<p>The SHO will be responsible for all O&M activities supported as part of this task order.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>#EGS</p>\n<p>#LI-NS1</p>\n<h4><strong> *** This position is contingent upon contract award. ***</strong></h4>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Essential Duties & Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Ensure work is completed in compliance with contract requirements, healthcare codes and regulations, budgets, and performance standards.</li>\n <li>Resolve conflicts, identified deficiencies, and issues following reporting and corrective action requirements.</li>\n <li>Maintain OSHA required program documentation and records for The Joint Commission (TJC) requirements, training, staff certifications and licenses, and permits.</li>\n <li>Conduct staff training, safety briefings, and safety inspections.</li>\n <li>Provide subcontractor safety orientation, accident investigations and necessary follow-up actions.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p>OSHA 30-hour training card (or course completion certificate if within 90 calendar days of having completed the training and card has not yet been issued).</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>• Resume or certificates demonstrating 24 hours of documented formal classroom or online Safety and Occupational Health (SOH) related training within the past 5 years</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Must maintain competency by taking 24 hours every 3 year period for the duration of the contract.
