Description
We are looking for a DVU student to join our Athletics team!
Reporting to Bob Altieri, 10 hours per week. We are looking for students who would like to commit to the position beyond one semester.
Essential job responsibilities include:
Daily practice laundry (mostly in the evenings). Wash –dry- and put away practice gear
Game day laundry when needed
Set up and break down the gymnasium for Volleyball matches
Set up and break down the gymnasium for Basketball games
Set up and break down wrestling matches
Put away game uniforms after wash is done
Help with baseball field dragging and raking when needed
Help with women’s lacrosse practice set up and break down
Help with meet and greet JV and varsity football officials for home games
Help out in any area of the athletic department when needed
Preferred qualifications include:
Reliable, willing to work evenings and weekends, dependable, good communication skills.
Physical Demands and working conditions for this position:
Outdoor exposure to weather
May have an alternate work schedule
May be required to be on call
Typically standing or walking
Occasionally lifting
Typically bending, crouching, stooping
Requirements:
Must be a Del Val student
