Reporting to the Metallurgy Superintendent, you will be part of the Process Plant Department. You will perform best practices and comply with procedures that are specific to metallurgy in terms of reporting, testing, sampling on all circuits of the process, and equipment follow up. You will also ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment. Work in a safe and environmentally responsible way; Provide daily technical support to mill & lab operations and assist operations with implementation of new plan practices; Responsible for the Metallurgy laboratory daily routines; Perform and prepare different sampling campaigns in the process for analysis; Inspect and monitor the process samplers; Fill, compile and analyze metallurgy data to create metallurgical models and optimize the process; Perform specific surveys of the crushing, grinding, leach/stripping circuits for KPI validation; Validate the accuracy of the measurement equipment, perform the required maintenance and fill out work orders accordingly; Improve the content of existing procedures; Apply the best metallurgy practices; Any other duty required by the Metallurgy Superintendent.
