Works closely with Supply Chain for the life cycle of a product, including acquisition, distribution, internal allocation, delivery, and final disposal of resources.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in verifying and keeping records on incoming and outgoing shipments and preparing items for shipment. Studies shipping notices, bills of lading, invoices, orders, and other records to determine shipping priorities, work assignments, and shipping methods required to meet shipping and receiving schedules, utilizing knowledge of shipping procedures, routes, and rates.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Works closely with manufacturing, customer service, purchasing, maintenance, sales and accounting to optimize the shipment of products to our customers. Responsible for ensuring that inventory is organized and accounted for using FIFO practices.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><br></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong><em>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</em></strong><strong>:</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><br></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Performs all AES requirements (Automated Export System) for export through Census Bureau/Document.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Point person for all incoming and outgoing freight.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Works closely with Freight Carriers for all incoming and outgoing loads - communicates to Purchasing and Customer Service (when KT is responsible for freight).</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Key member of the OTD Team for customer orders (coordinates completion with production-ensures timely shipments).</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Administers OTD metrics of Freight Carriers delivering KT routed materials from Knowlton suppliers.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Lead receiver of goods and services coming to the mill.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Drives First in First Out handling of all raw materials.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Oversees and directs activities of Shipping /Receiving personnel.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Performs daily cycle count activities for raw materials (possible Finished Goods &amp; Raw Rolls) and facilitates reconciliation of any inventory inaccuracies found by Cycle counts.&nbsp;</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Supports mill-wide inventories.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Coordinates activities with the Knowlton Off-Site Storage Warehouse.&nbsp;</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Audit incoming Pulp load weights on incoming raw materials.&nbsp;</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Specifies unload/load dates of trucks and works closely with freight forwarder (carrier coordination).</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Utilize all customer requested websites, portals and shipping requirements.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Interface with customers with Advanced Shipment Notification (ASN).</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Understands the union rules and shipping / receiving budget.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Coordinates tow-motor and vehicle maintenance, including KT leased truck.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ensures cleanliness per 6S schedule and safety of all shipping, receiving and warehouse areas.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Enforces all company safety policies and procedures and created policies and procedures for logistics activities.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Complies with all company policies and procedures including crew member discipline and documentation.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Manage Vendor Certificates of Analyses.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><br></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong><u>QUALITY:</u></strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Supports, maintains and continually improves Knowlton Technologies, LLC Quality Management System in accordance with requirements of the IATF 16949 International Standard.
