If you are passionate about delivering exceptional guest service, creating meaningful experiences, and being part of a high-performing team, Yellowstone Club is looking for you.</p><p>Yellowstone Club&rsquo;s Snowsports Department is currently seeking a <strong>Snowsports Assistant Manager &ndash; Events &amp; Race Operations</strong> for the Winter 2026/2027 season.</p><p><strong>Position Summary</strong></p><p>The Snowsports Assistant Manager &ndash; Events &amp; Race Operations is responsible for the leadership, planning, and execution of all on-snow events and race programming. This role oversees<strong>&nbsp;</strong>On-Snow Events and Race Crew Operations, ensuring high-quality venue setup, safe and consistent race surfaces, and exceptional member and guest experiences.</p><p>In addition, this role supports the broader Snowsports operation through leadership of Supervisors and Instructors, staffing coordination, training support, and daily operational execution.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><p><strong>Event &amp; Venue Management</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Oversee planning, setup, maintenance, and teardown of all event venues including Freeride, Slopestyle, Racecourse, and special events</li><li>Ensure venues are prepared to the highest standard with a focus on safety, quality, and guest experience</li><li>Coordinate with internal departments to execute seamless events</li><li>Anticipate operational needs, weather impacts, and staffing requirements to ensure successful outcomes</li><li>Maintain safe venue conditions throughout each event day</li></ul><p><strong>Race Operations &amp; Race Crew Leadership</strong></p><ul><li>Lead all race programming including daily races, NASTAR, member races, and special competitions</li><li>Oversee course setting, maintenance, and teardown including gates, timing systems, signage, and netting</li><li>Ensure consistent, high-quality race surfaces through course slipping and inspection</li><li>Manage race equipment inventory, organization, and readiness</li><li>Train, schedule, and develop Race Crew and Event staff</li><li>Coordinate special race training with instructors and guests</li><li>Ensure all race operations reflect the skill level and experience of participants on a given day</li></ul><p><strong>Snowsports Operations Support</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Assist the Snowsports Manager in staffing, hiring, training, and operational planning</li><li>Lead and support Snowsports Supervisors in daily operations, scheduling, and lesson assignments</li><li>Leading morning operational meetings for race and event crew</li><li>Support instructors in delivering safe, engaging, and professional lessons aligned with Snowsports standards</li><li>Maintain strong communication with Snowsports leadership, instructors, reservations, and membership</li></ul><p><strong>Leadership &amp; Team Development</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Recruit, train, and develop Race Crew and Events staff</li><li>Foster a professional, organized, and team-oriented culture</li><li>Provide clear expectations, feedback, and ongoing coaching</li><li>Lead by example with professionalism, communication, and attention to detail</li><li>Support training initiatives including technical skills, safety, and guest service</li></ul><p><strong>Guest &amp; Member Experience</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Deliver exceptional service to members, guests, and participants of all ages</li><li>Act as a primary on-snow point of contact during events and races</li><li>Resolve issues proactively and professionally</li><li>Ensure all programming reflects Yellowstone Club&rsquo;s high standards</li><li>Coordinate with Reservations and Outdoor Pursuits leadership to answer member questions and concerns</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications &amp; Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in ski racing<s>,</s> race operations or event management</li><li>Demonstrated leadership experience managing teams and operations</li><li>Expert skiing&nbsp;ability required</li><li>Experience with racecourse setup, event venues, or terrain-based events (Freeride, Slopestyle)</li><li>Knowledge of course setting techniques, race formats, and safety standards</li><li>Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a dynamic environment</li><li>Excellent communication and problem-solving skills</li><li>Experience working with children and adults in a teaching or coaching environment preferred</li><li>Familiarity with PSIA standards, teaching methodologies, and skier development concepts</li><li>PSIA Level 1 or US Ski &amp; Snowboard Alpine Level 100 preferred</li><li>CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)</li><li>College degree or equivalent experience preferred</li></ul><p><strong>Physical Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>Ability to work outdoors in variable winter conditions for extended periods</li><li>Ability to lift and carry equipment including gates, fencing, and drills</li><li>Ability to ski while carrying loads of 50+ lbs. in variable terrain and conditions</li><li>Capable of maintaining high energy and focus in a fast-paced environment</li></ul><p><strong>Season &amp;
