    "jobDescription": "<h2></h2><h2>Job Description:</h2><p style=\"text-align:inherit\"></p><p><b>The</b> <b>Group</b></p><p></p><p>Strategic Advisers, LLC (SAI) is a registered investment advisor and wholly owned subsidiary of FMR LLC that provides investment management services to clients through Fidelity’s retail and institutional distribution channels. For more than 30 years, SAI has specialized in asset allocation solutions, as well as crafting methodologies for many of Fidelity’s investment planning tools to help investors reach their financial goals. With over $1 Trillion in assets under management, SAI manages asset allocation strategies for over three million customers. The Portfolio Engineering (PE) function within SAI is responsible for the management, customization, and execution of individual client portfolios.</p><p></p><p><b>The Role</b></p><p>Strategic Advisers is looking for a Portfolio Analyst to join our Fundamental Model Management Team in the Portfolio Engineering division. The Portfolio Analyst works closely with the Portfolio Management Teams and plays a key role in ensuring that portfolios are positioned in accordance with the Portfolio Managers&#39; (PM) investment strategies and views. These portfolios include a mix of single and multi-asset class strategies, investing in a selection of securities including stocks, bonds, ETF’s, mutual funds, and separately managed accounts. </p><p></p><p><b>The Value You Deliver</b></p><ul><li>Engage with Asset Allocators and Portfolio Managers to build and implement customized model portfolios and investment solutions for our customers</li><li>Collaborate with Portfolio Managers to develop and execute trading strategies across model portfolios and SAI Multi-Manager Mutual Funds (asset allocation changes, single asset-class investment selection changes, allocation of daily shareholder flows, fund transitions, program trades, etc.)</li><li>Partner with internal and external trading desks, PMs, and CIOs to implement trades effectively by understanding cash flow management, liquidity constraints, and market impacts</li><li>Analyze portfolio performance, positioning, risk, and attribution to ensure alignment with PM investment thesis and recognize, evaluate, and reconcile any results that are inconsistent with manager or strategy objectives</li><li>Leverage business knowledge and investment tools to build and enhance reporting capabilities and analytics to improve investment oversight across strategies</li><li>Collaborate across investment and technology teams on projects to improve infrastructure, enhance the investment process, and implement new investment ideas</li><li>Represent SAI and the Fundamental Model Management Team on cross-functional initiatives to creatively solve business challenges and support the future growth of our business</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Skills and Knowledge</b></p><ul><li>Knowledge of asset allocation concepts and portfolio construction principles in a multi-asset class framework</li><li>Demonstrated interest in financial markets, portfolio management, and client investment outcomes</li><li>Proven ability to work collaboratively and build relationships in a team-oriented environment</li><li>Self-starter who can maintain a high level of attention to detail, prioritize effectively, and manage to critical deadlines </li><li>Strong analytical mindset and demonstrated ability to creatively solve problems</li><li>Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)</li><li>Proven success understanding and analyzing investment data (experience with database and/or quantitative tools is preferred)</li><li>Familiarity with investment tools such as Morningstar Direct, Factset, Bloomberg, SQL, Tableau, and Excel</li></ul><p><b>Education and Experience</b></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required</li><li>Progress towards advanced degree, CFA designation, or equivalent investment credentials preferred</li><li>Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in the investment industry, demonstrating proficiency in investment management and managed account solutions</li></ul><p></p><p><i>Fidelity Investments is an equal opportunity employer.</i></p><p style=\"text-align:inherit\"></p><p style=\"text-align:inherit\"></p>The base salary range for this position is $90,000 - $175,000 per year.  <p>Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.</p><p></p><p>Base salary is only part of the total compensation package.
