We specialize in liability, physical damage, cargo and other insurance solutions for the commercial auto markets including trucking, public transportation and others. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>The company is an equal opportunity employer.</strong></p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>Carolina Casualty is seeking a detail-oriented, quick-learner with an interest in pursuing a long-term career with a constantly-evolving top competitor in the Commercial Transportation Insurance industry.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Key Functions<strong><em> </em></strong>will include but not be limited to:</p>\n<p>•    Collect and analyze data to rate new and renewal business •    Efficiently navigate in rating and issuance systems, including timely and accurate issuance of policies and policy amendments•    Adhere to all Carolina Casualty, Underwriting, State, and Federal rules and regulations•    Examine documents including declarations, applications, signed forms, Motor Vehicle Reports, and other policy documents for accuracy and completeness•    Interpret underwriting manuals/guidelines, rating manuals, forms, and workflows and provide improvement recommendations as appropriate•    Maintain knowledge of technical underwriting process and/or research information if needed; participate in ongoing training as appropriate•    Collaborate with peers, Underwriters, and other departments to promptly and proactively address business challenges and/or opportunities •    Perform other duties and/or projects as assigned•    Provide first level contact for external customer service inquiries</p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Risk Management preferred</li>\n <li>Insurance Designation (AINS, AU, etc…) preferred</li>\n <li>1 - 3 years of Insurance and/or Commercial Auto (Trucking and Public Transportation) Insurance Underwriting experience preferred</li>\n <li>2+ years of Data Entry/Data Processing</li>\n <li>Capable of working with internal and external teams and partners</li>\n <li>Superior customer experience skills</li>\n <li>Positive attitude and professional demeanor</li>\n <li>Strong computer skills, including Excel and Outlook</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Additional Company Details</h2>We do not accept any unsolicited resumes from external recruiting agencies or firms.
