    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>Johns Hopkins Intrastaff is the internal staffing agency for the Johns Hopkins Health System and partner hospitals, providing temporary support to a variety of the Johns Hopkins locations. Directly or indirectly, you'll have exposure to cutting-edge technology and groundbreaking medical research.</p>\n<p><strong>Cardiovascular Interventional Lab (consists of Cath and EP labs)</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Schedule:</strong> M-F;  Four 10-hour shifts; 40 hours a week - alternating/staggered ten-hour shifts (7-530p & 8-630p)</p>\n<p><strong>Rotating day off:</strong> No Block scheduling - No Set Schedule</p>\n<p><strong>On Call</strong>: Weekday, Weekend and Holiday - on-call is every 4<em>th</em> weekend not every 3rd.  It's one weekend in a month and 1-2 days on weekday. </p>\n<p><strong>Call has a required 30-minute response time.</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Payrate- $80</strong></p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>Facilitating and coordinates of programs that may include hospital inpatients, outpatients, families, community, and employees of both the hospital and the university by providing evidence-based care based on the nursing process, policies, procedures, and protocols of the Johns Hopkins Hospital.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Providing direction to/management of  other team members to promote quality, safety, and excellence in care.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Working collaboratively with, and providing leadership for, a multidisciplinary health care team to support program initiatives that support quality, safety, and excellence in care.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Participating in promoting and identifying quality improvement initiatives (clinical, financial, operational) that supports, protects and promotes area of specialty. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Initiating and participate in the research activities relevant to specialty area.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Implementing initiatives in area of specialty as directed by nursing and medical leadership.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Fostering a clinical environment of service excellence.</p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Cardiovascular Interventional Lab (consists of Cath and EP labs)</strong></p>\n<p>Must have ICU Experience AND Cardiac Cath and/or EP Lab Experience.</p>\n<p>Required: <strong>Cardiovascular Interventional Lab </strong>(CVIL) Cath and/or EP labs experience, EPIC, <strong>Moderate sedation experience; BLS and ACLS; Minimum (2) years RN Cardiac/Surgical ICU experience; </strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Johns Hopkins Health System and its affiliates are an Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action employers.
