    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>Starting rate: $19.50/hour</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The Day Services Case Manager will provide an environment that fosters growth and independence through therapeutic and recreational services and will assist in the design of a developmental skills training program with the interdisciplinary team. We are a strong-knit community that values the ideas and contributions of our staff. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p></p>\n<p><strong>Are you ready to make a difference?</strong></p>\n<h2>Minimum Education Required</h2>High School Diploma/GED\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Provide case management and skills training support to the individuals in areas such as self-care, self-preservation, receptive and expressive communication, decision-making, self-direction, activities of daily living, hygiene and grooming.</li>\n <li>Develop, implement and monitor collaborative therapeutic service plans, completing all necessary documentation and reporting significant concerns to the supervisor as needed.</li>\n <li>Assess individuals’ behaviors and complete daily data, monthly progress notes and quarterly reviews.</li>\n <li>Foster community integration and provide support to individuals to actualize this goal. </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s Degree; or High School Diploma and two years’ experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.</li>\n <li>Strong interpersonal skills and ability to use good judgement.</li>\n <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li>\n <li>Basic computer knowledge.</li>\n <li>Must hold a valid driver's license, have access to an operational and insured vehicle and be willing to use it to transport clients.</li>\n <li>Strongly prefer a candidate that will have a demonstrated understanding of and competence in serving culturally diverse populations.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><em>Advocates is committed to cultivating a diverse and welcoming community where everyone feels respected and valued.
