The OR Support Specialist must actively monitor equipment operation and function during scheduled surgical procedures and must be available by phone to address emergent issues.</p><ul><li>Ideal candidates might have experience in one of the following areas or professions:</li><li>sterile processing</li><li>surgical technician or technologist</li><li>patient care assistance</li><li>medical transporter</li><li>other perioperative services</li></ul><p><u><strong>What You Have To Bring That We Cannot Teach</strong></u></p><ul><li>Integrity, energy, creativity, and a positive attitude</li><li>Collaborative and team-first spirit: someone who looks for every opportunity to create a 'win' for others or serve others</li><li>Critical thinking and good judgment, proven problem-solving attitude even in pressure situations (like the OR)</li><li>Self-driven</li><li>Attention to detail</li><li>Computer savvy: Office 365, general comfort and competence.</li><li>Commitment to communicating with clarity; strong written and verbal communication skills</li><li>Willingness to maintain a professional and clean workspace</li><li>Willingness to complete any other tasks as assigned or approved by SIS</li></ul><p><br></p>",
