(Intertek-PSI)</strong> is a leading US based provider of construction assurance, testing and inspection in civil and commercial construction. Our broad service offering includes construction materials testing, geotechnical services, environmental engineering, industrial hygiene, and specialty testing.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>What are we looking for?</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">The <strong>Environmental Regional Manager&nbsp;</strong>will work closely with the Environmental Regional Vice President (RVP) to provide focused leadership and/or direct management of designated Operating Units (OUs).&nbsp;</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">The position will be an extension of the RVP and in conjunction with the ENV RVP to establish and monitor designated key performance indicators (KPIs) to increase gross revenue, manage labor %, and drive operating margin.&nbsp; The Regional Manager will also provide feedback to the RVP on operational and staffing challenges, to assist in process improvement.&nbsp;This position will travel 25% of the time depending on company needs.</p><p><strong>Shift/Schedule:&nbsp;</strong>Monday – Friday 8:00AM-5:00PM (may vary)</p><p><strong>Salary &amp; Benefits Information</strong></p><p>The salary range for this position is $150,000 - $185,000. This position is bonus eligible. Individual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons.</p><p>In addition to competitive compensation packages, when working with Intertek you can expect benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, 401(k) with company match, generous vacation / sick time (PTO), tuition reimbursement and more.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>What you’ll do:</strong></p><p><strong>Administrative/Financial</strong></p><ul><li>Review and approve staff timesheets daily</li><li>Review and approve department expenses and accounts payable</li><li>Interview, hire, and onboard staff</li><li>Review monthly profit and loss statements</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Project/Quality</strong></p><ul><li>Ensure Operating Unit (OU) compliance with Quality programs and Core Management Controls (CMCs)</li><li>Mentor and train staff</li><li>Manage projects and contracts</li><li>Communicate with existing clients to discuss satisfaction with PSI’s services and identify potential new opportunities</li><li>Review project invoicing for accuracy</li><li>Follow up with clients on outstanding accounts receivable in a timely manner</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Business Development</strong></p><ul><li>Develop and implement sales and growth plans aligned with best management practices</li><li>Monitor published lead sources for project opportunities (e.g., McGraw-Hill, Bid Clerk, Onvia)</li><li>Strategize approaches to capture identified opportunities and leads</li><li>Initiate contact with potential clients through letters of interest, calls, and meetings</li><li>Prepare cost estimates and proposals for testing and inspection projects</li><li>Follow up promptly on 100% of submitted proposals</li></ul><p>This position outline is a general guideline and does not represent all encompassing details. The position assumes that the incumbent has both the mental and physical requirements to carry out the above defined duties.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Minimum Requirements &amp; Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science, or related science field</li><li>10+ years of experience in environmental consulting, with strong technical and operational expertise</li><li>5+ years in a people management role, proven experience overseeing teams of 5–10+ staff; skilled at leading in both an influential capacity and a traditional people-management environment<ul><li>Ability to manage geographically dispersed teams across multiple locations</li></ul></li><li>Proven office group management experience with a track record of P&amp;L growth&nbsp;</li><li>Demonstrated success in developing and implementing business strategies and process management programs within a service-oriented organization&nbsp;</li><li>Strong business development skills with a track record of cultivating and growing new client relationships, while driving revenue growth</li><li>Ability to conduct business across multiple time zones with flexibility for travel as needed</li><li>High degree of personal integrity, with a collaborative approach to leadership in a team-based environment&nbsp;</li><li>Thrives in fast-paced, multi-tasking settings with shifting priorities and demanding deadlines&nbsp;</li><li>Strong verbal, written, and presentation communication skills&nbsp;</li><li>Valid Driver's License and reliable driving record&nbsp;required</li><li>Willingness and ability to travel 25% of the time&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>Preferred Requirements &amp; Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Professional registration/certifications (P.G., P.E., CHMM, CIH, CSP)</li></ul><p><strong>Intertek: Total Quality.
