This position offers a meaningful opportunity to support individuals in a structured, secure environment through evidence-based care and clinical expertise.</p><p>The Behavioral Health Provider serves as a <strong>subject matter expert</strong> in mental health and substance use, performing assessments, diagnoses, and treatment of individuals experiencing a range of behavioral health conditions.</p><hr><h3><strong>Primary Duties</strong></h3><ul><li><p>Conduct <strong>comprehensive mental health evaluations</strong> to support individualized treatment planning.</p></li><li><p>Provide <strong>individual and group psychotherapy</strong>, behavioral interventions, and counseling services.</p></li><li><p>Deliver <strong>education and treatment</strong> for co-occurring substance use and mental health conditions.</p></li><li><p>Refer patients for higher levels of care (acute or inpatient) when clinically appropriate.</p></li><li><p>Collaborate with medical, nursing, and custody staff to promote a safe and therapeutic environment.</p></li></ul><hr><h3><strong>Qualifications</strong></h3><ul><li><p><strong>Doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD)</strong> in Psychology from an APA-accredited program.</p></li><li><p>Minimum of <strong>one year of independent practice</strong> as a licensed Psychologist.</p></li><li><p>Current, unrestricted license to practice Psychology in any U.S. state or territory.</p></li><li><p><strong>BLS certification</strong> through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.</p></li><li><p>High proficiency in assessing, diagnosing, and treating behavioral health conditions.</p></li><li><p><strong>Preferred:</strong> Experience in a <strong>correctional, detention, or residential healthcare</strong> setting.</p></li></ul><hr><h3><strong>Responsibilities</strong></h3><ul><li><p>Provide brief therapy, crisis intervention, and ongoing psychotherapy to individuals and groups.</p></li><li><p>Assess and manage individuals presenting with trauma, suicidal ideation, or acute psychiatric symptoms.</p></li><li><p>Develop and oversee individualized treatment plans in collaboration with behavioral health staff.</p></li><li><p>Participate in case reviews and provide clinical input for multidisciplinary care coordination.</p></li><li><p>Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.</p></li><li><p>Respond to behavioral health and medical emergencies as required by facility protocol.</p></li></ul><hr><h3><strong>Schedule &amp; Benefits</strong></h3><ul><li><p><strong>Full-time position</strong> &#8211; 4x10 hour shifts</p></li><li><p><strong>Comprehensive benefits package</strong>, including:</p><ul><li><p>Paid Time Off (PTO)</p></li><li><p>Paid Sick Leave</p></li><li><p>Health Insurance</p></li></ul></li></ul><p><span style=\"font-family:arial,helvetica,sans-serif; font-size:x-small\"><em>MDPerm is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
