A career at Koorsen includes competitive pay, a significant health package, an annual bonus program, life insurance, continuous learning offerings, matching 401k, paid holidays, generous PTO, tuition reimbursement, career growth opportunities, and more.</p><p>Salary Up to $25/hour depending upon experience.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong>&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Inspect Fire Extinguishers, Fire Hose, Emergency, Exit Lights, and Kitchen Hood Suppression Systems&nbsp;</li><li>Service any Fire Extinguishers, Fire Hoses, and Emergency and Exit Lights that need maintenance&nbsp;</li><li>Sell new Fire Extinguishers, Fire Hoses, Emergency and Exit Lights&nbsp;</li><li>Ensure customers understand the products and systems we maintain on their property&nbsp;</li><li>Interact with customers, vendors, and co-workers in a professional manner&nbsp;</li><li>Demonstrate an understanding of and follow all safety regulations and practices&nbsp;</li><li>Open-minded willingness for continual learning&nbsp;</li><li>Follow all Koorsen policies, procedures, and core values&nbsp;</li><li>Any other duties deemed appropriate by management&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>Required:</strong>&nbsp;</p><ul><li>6 mo. of experience with fire extinguishers</li><li>Pass drug and background screenings&nbsp;</li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills&nbsp;</li><li>state licensing requirements and vendor certifications&nbsp;</li><li>Valid driver&rsquo;s license&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>Preferred:</strong>&nbsp;</p><ul><li>1-3 years of Fire Life Safety experience&nbsp;</li><li>Route sales or sales experience&nbsp;</li><li>Fire Extinguisher Vendor Certifications&nbsp;</li></ul><p><u><strong>Physical Demands</strong></u><strong>:</strong></p><ul><li><span style=\"background-color: transparent;\">Able to safely and effectively use general hand and power tools</span></li><li><span style=\"background-color: transparent;\">Must be able to use a cell phone and cell phone app effectively</span></li><li><span style=\"background-color: transparent;\">Lift and carry a minimum of 50 lbs. Push and pull more significant than 75 lbs.</span></li><li><span style=\"background-color: transparent;\">Climb a ladder reaching a height of at least 12 feet and use a man lift to perform service</span></li><li><span style=\"background-color: transparent;\">Exposure to outside weather conditions, temperature changes, and loud noise</span></li><li><span style=\"background-color: transparent;\">While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to talk or hear. &nbsp;The employee is frequently required to sit, stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, and reach with hands and&nbsp;</span><span style=\"background-color: transparent;\">arms.</span></li></ul><p><br><strong>HIRING PROCESS (in addition to an interview):</strong><br>New hires must complete the I-9 Verification form within three days of hire.
