    "description": "<h2>Job Description</h2>\n<p>The <strong>Life Enrichment Director</strong> at <strong>The Preston of Rockville</strong> promotes a healthy and activity-enriched lifestyle for residents and associates through the planning and implementation of wellbeing programs at the community.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>The Preston of</strong> <strong>Rockville: </strong>https://www.kiscoseniorliving.com/lifestyle/preston/</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>What will I do every day?</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Develop and promote a variety of group and individual Wellness programs </li>\n <li>Manage resident risk through functional assessments and resident lifestyle assessments</li>\n <li>Oversee the publication of a Wellness calendar and newsletter</li>\n <li>Implement and manage an effective transportation program</li>\n <li>Establish and manage a volunteer program</li>\n <li>Conduct departmental planning and forecasting</li>\n <li>Ensure an effective staffing schedule</li>\n <li>Manage the wellness budget expenses and labor costs</li>\n <li>Hire and train new members of the wellness team </li>\n <li>Perform other related duties as required</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>What will I need to be successful in this role?</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Be a great team player</li>\n <li>Be a progressive and creative thinker</li>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree preferred</li>\n <li>Three years of experience in programming, implementing, and oversight of activities and wellness programs for different levels of skill and cognitive ability</li>\n <li>Two or more years of experience in training and supervising staff</li>\n <li>Experience working with seniors preferred</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Special Requirements/Certifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Valid driver’s license and proof of good driving record</li>\n <li>ASFA Fitness Instructor/Personal Trainer (preferred)</li>\n <li>ACSM Health/Fitness Instructor (preferred)</li>\n <li>Cooper Research Institute Fitness and Strength Training for seniors (preferred)</li>\n <li>Senior Fitness Association Certification (preferred)</li>\n <li>Commercial Driver’s License or ability to obtain one within reasonable time of employment (as required)</li>\n <li>First Aid Certification</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>What’s in it for me?
