This position provides services necessary to prevent cross-contamination and the spread of infection between patients, visitors, and staff. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Schedule: Per Diem</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The pay range for this position is $24.03-$33.92/hourly. Compensation is determined based on relevant experience and department equity. </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Performs a variety of activities to clean assigned areas in patient rooms, operating rooms, pre-op/recovery rooms, and/or common areas of the hospital, according to established procedures</li>\n <li>Completes assignments in an efficient manner while maintaining a high standard of work, ensuring the established guidelines and practices are met</li>\n <li>Utilizes proper knowledge of safety, hospital codes and infection control measures according to established departmental guidelines</li>\n <li>Demonstrates the ability to operate floor care machinery and other cleaning machines safely</li>\n <li>Properly collect and dispose of regular trash, regulated medical waste and soiled linens</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Note:  This is not an all-inclusive list of this job's responsibilities.  The incumbent may be required to perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.</p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Preferred</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>1+ years of environmental services experience in a hospital setting</li>\n <li>Floor Maintenance experience</li>\n</ul>",
