    "description": "<p>Safety / Environment </p>\n\n\n\n<p>·         Adherence to site and company standards and procedures in HSEC while ensuring all duties are being performed in a manner that minimises risk to self and others.</p>\n<p>·         Assure that the highest standards of Environmental and Safety performance are adhered to within your area of responsibility.</p>\n<p>·         Maintain  housekeeping at all times, safe work, incident/accident reporting &amp; active involvement in safety initiatives to ensure a safe work environment.</p>\n<p>·         Demonstrate effective performance in achieving agreed HSEC goals in support of the department, site and company standards and regulations. </p>\n\n\n\n<p>Understand and familiarise oneself with site Emergency evacuation procedures</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Company / Leadership</p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Display conduct which is aligned with company Core Values, Policies and Procedures.</li>\n<li>Lead by example and actively participate to achieve department and company goals and objectives.</li>\n<li>Initiate and provide input into company directives in collaboration with the Site Management team.</li>\n<li>Communicate department obligations and conditions to the leadership team, ensuring specific understanding and accountability</li>\n</ul>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Provide Daily supervision of the underground workforce in conjunction with safely meeting daily production plans</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Behaviour / Attitude </p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Support and follow all lawful instructions/directives from direct supervisor.</li>\n<li>Maintain a high level of professionalism and take responsibility for own conduct and behaviour in the workplace.</li>\n</ul>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure clear and timely communication of department requirements and conditions to your supervisor and relevant stakeholders</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Technical / Role Accountabilities </p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li> Ensure the accurate and timely processing of all activities related to underground operations</li>\n<li>Ensure good understanding of technical drawings and mine design instructions.</li>\n<li> Comply with established methodologies and quality standards related to underground operations; where appropriate, recommend new/innovative or alternate approaches</li>\n<li>Monitor adherence to plans and initiate corrective actions related to operations, safety, and environmental affairs; respond to emergency situations according to established practices</li>\n<li>Appropriately escalate issues through to the Mine Captain or their designate .<br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Teamwork</p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Communicate relevant information and data to other personnel through formalised leadership team meetings and work crew start of shift process flow.</li>\n<li>Attend and actively participate in scheduled operational process  meetings and provide accurate information on problems, events and process changes..</li>\n<li>Identify specific areas that have the potential for improvement and cost savings.</li>\n</ul>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Participate in and utilise the change management process for identified problems and opportunities to make improvements</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Planning &amp; Organization </p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Plan and execute work activities to meet production schedules and mining plans</li>\n<li>Prioritise and complete tasks accurately as to specifications as assigned by direct supervisor within required timeframes.</li>\n<li>Proactively identify and address hazards before they arise as issues.</li>\n<li>Be punctual to work and all required site meetings.</li>\n</ul>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Undertake other duties as lawfully instructed<br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Experience </p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>College or technical training equivalent to 3 years of study</li>\n<li>Minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible mine production supervision experience</li>\n</ul>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Basic Ontario Hard Rock Common Core and Ontario Supervisory Common Core required</li>\n</ul>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs is required.</li>\n<li>Mine Rescue experience is an asset.</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Intermediate level knowledge of Microsoft Office.</span></li>\n</ul>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Complete knowledge of mining methods and operating practices</li>\n</ul>\n\n\n",
