    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p><strong><u>Title:</u></strong> Broker Product Analyst</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong><u>Location:</u></strong>  U.S. Remote</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong><u>Pay:</u></strong> $70-$85k/yr DOE</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Schedule: </strong> Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong><u>Responsibilities:</u></strong></p>\n<p> </p>  \n<ul>\n <li>The Broker Product Analyst has a complete understanding and thorough knowledge of mortgage products and pricing as well as to effectively read and understand mortgage underwriting guidelines and rate sheets.</li>\n <li>Review, research, and respond to product inquiries and product guidelines, questions, through a Scenario Desk environment.</li>\n <li>Manage Broker Scenario Desk inbox and respond to inquiries from all internal and external customer groups within a timely manner.</li>\n <li>Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies to position New American Funding as a leader and industry expert.</li>\n <li>Assist Product Development Team with execution of new product implementations.</li>\n <li>Ensure compliance with New American Fundings policies, processes, and practices.</li>\n <li>Create, update, implement and maintain all broker product guidelines and eligibility requirements.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong><u>Qualifications:</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Knowledge of mortgage loan processing, compliance, investor products, and underwriting guidelines.</li>\n <li>Will consider experienced processor/ jr. underwriter.</li>\n <li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills</li>\n <li>Ability to multi-task, effectively prioritize tasks and responsibilities, effective time management.</li>\n <li>Strong analytical skills: effective decision-making with the ability to appropriately exercise independent judgment.</li>\n <li>Detail-oriented with strong organizational and people skills.</li>\n <li>Ability to work independently, as well as effectively function as a member of the Product Development Team.</li>\n <li>Accountability; strong work ethic.</li>\n <li>Excellent customer service focus.</li>\n <li>Strong ability to synthesize and communicate results of data analysis.</li>\n <li>The ability to maintain and work with confidential information.</li>\n <li>Strong Microsoft Office skills with a focus on MS Word & Excel</li>\n <li>In-depth understanding of the mortgage loan landscape and the associated regulatory environment.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong><u>Other Duties:</u></strong> This job may require frequent sitting or standing for long periods of time.
