Description

Overview Title: Broker Product Analyst Location: U.S. Remote Pay: $70-$85k/yr DOE Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm Responsibilities Responsibilities: The Broker Product Analyst has a complete understanding and thorough knowledge of mortgage products and pricing as well as to effectively read and understand mortgage underwriting guidelines and rate sheets. Review, research, and respond to product inquiries and product guidelines, questions, through a Scenario Desk environment. Manage Broker Scenario Desk inbox and respond to inquiries from all internal and external customer groups within a timely manner. Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies to position New American Funding as a leader and industry expert. Assist Product Development Team with execution of new product implementations. Ensure compliance with New American Fundings policies, processes, and practices. Create, update, implement and maintain all broker product guidelines and eligibility requirements. Qualifications Qualifications: Knowledge of mortgage loan processing, compliance, investor products, and underwriting guidelines. Will consider experienced processor/ jr. underwriter. Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to multi-task, effectively prioritize tasks and responsibilities, effective time management. Strong analytical skills: effective decision-making with the ability to appropriately exercise independent judgment. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and people skills. Ability to work independently, as well as effectively function as a member of the Product Development Team. Accountability; strong work ethic. Excellent customer service focus. Strong ability to synthesize and communicate results of data analysis. The ability to maintain and work with confidential information. Strong Microsoft Office skills with a focus on MS Word & Excel In-depth understanding of the mortgage loan landscape and the associated regulatory environment. Other Duties: This job may require frequent sitting or standing for long periods of time.
