Description
Description
Wagner College invites applications for an open-rank faculty position in our inaugural undergraduate program in Human Services, beginning August 2026. Candidates should hold a MSW, and individuals with Licensure (LMSW) and/or an advanced degree in sociology are particularly desired. The successful candidate will primarily teach in our Social Work/Family Studies concentration and should be prepared to teach introductory courses in Human Services, Social Work and Social Policy and upper level courses in the concentration. Candidates will also supervise undergraduate field placements/internships. An ability to involve students in field-based or laboratory research is highly desirable. Rank will be dependent upon the candidate’s degree and experience.
Please submit a letter of application, curriculum vitae, unofficial graduate transcripts, statement of teaching philosophy and experience, evidence of teaching excellence (if available), and contact information for three referees, as a single PDF under the “resume” button. Review of application materials will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled. Questions should be directed to Dr. Celeste Gagnon, Social and Behavioral Sciences Division Chair, at [email protected].
