Overview We have a career opportunity for a Predictive Systems Specialist to join our team! **Vacancy will be filled at Technical Specialist IV or Technical Specialist V level based on candidate experience. Technical Specialist IV Performs and provides predictive systems analysis and technical support to the Thermal Division’s steam & chilled water facilities. Activities include the acquisition of field data, the maintaining and updating of equipment databases, and the writing of maintenance procedures and specifications. Also performs calculations, troubleshoots problems found in mechanical systems, and prepares cost estimates for correction and/or repair as required by given applications. Technical Specialist V Advanced technician. Under general supervision manages multiple projects of medium to high complexity by assuring compliance with scope, budget, schedule, quality, and safety. Engages in interactions with contractor, consultants, general public, other Citizens departments, and other agencies. Preferred Skills/Qualifications: Associate Degree in Drafting or a related Engineering Design Technology. Experience in the appropriate electronic applications and programs required for performing assignments to include, but not limited to, CADD or other electronic applications. Intermediate knowledge of engineering standards, systems, document control, departmental guides and Citizens policies and procedures. Advanced ability to interpret engineering deliverable content as assigned. Basic knowledge of engineering design principles and applicable design guides related to assigned engineering discipline. Ability to work in office and field environment. Detailed understanding of applicable systems and other infrastructure projects at Citizens. Demonstrated ability to work effectively and cooperatively with others as well as work with minimal direct supervision. Strong analytical, problem solving and organizational skills. Demonstrated ability to prioritize project tasks, and assist in managing a project team. Ultrasound Level I & II (required by second year) Required Certifications (or obtained within first year): Category I & II Vibration Analyst Infrared Thermographer Level I & II Certified Reliability Leader RDI Motion Amplification Level I Must be able to keep certification up to date. Technical Specialist V High School Diploma, equivalency Certificate, or sufficient education acceptable by management. 8 years of related experience and/or training or 6 years of Citizens experience. Advanced ability to interpret engineering deliverable content as assigned. Basic knowledge of engineering design principles and applicable design guides related to assigned engineering discipline.</li>\n <li>Ability to work in office and field environment. Detailed understanding of applicable systems and other infrastructure projects at Citizens. Demonstrated ability to work effectively and cooperatively with others as well as work with minimal direct supervision. Strong analytical, problem solving and organizational skills.
