Here, you will make an impact by:</p><ul><li><p>Developing and maturing 3M’s global labor relations strategy</p></li><li><p>Leading a network of global labor-relations experts to share practices and identify key issues and concerns</p></li><li><p>Driving assessment of risk of labor- and employee-relations disruption</p></li><li><p>Providing governance of stakeholder communications regarding global labor relations issues</p></li><li><p>Developing and adapting global labor-relations tools, playbooks, and training</p></li><li><p>Leading deep-dives on labor-adjacent processes for optimization opportunities</p></li><li><p>Representing HR on cross-functional teams aligned to enterprise labor priorities</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Your Skills and Expertise  </b></p><p>To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:</p><ul><li><p>Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start)</p></li><li><p>Ten (10) years of combined experience in human resources, labor relations, and/or labor &amp; employment law, in a multinational private, public, government, or military environment</p></li></ul><p></p><p>Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:</p><ul><li><p>Master’s degree in human resource management, or labor relations, or a law degree</p></li><li><p>Global labor relations or labor/employment law experience</p></li><li><p>Proven ability to lead by influence</p></li><li><p>Strong collaboration skills</p></li><li><p>Excellent oral and written English communication skills</p></li><li><p>Process orientation</p></li><li><p>Bias toward execution</p></li><li><p>Adeptness in navigating ambiguity</p></li><li><p>Demonstrated integrity and compliance mindset</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Work location: </b></p><ul><li><p><b>3M Global Headquarters in St. Paul, MN (4 days in office)</b></p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Travel: </b>May include up to 20% domestic and/or international travel</p><p><b>Relocation Assistance: May be authorized</b></p><p></p><p><b>Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).</b></p><p></p><p><b>Supporting Your Well-being</b> </p><p>3M offers many programs to help you live your best life – both physically and financially.
