The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.</p>\n<p><strong>Position Title:</strong> Site Supervisor</p>\n<p><strong>Work Location:</strong> Eastern Passage, Nova Scotia</p>\n<p><strong>Employment Type:</strong> Full-Time</p>\n<p><strong>Hourly Rate:</strong> $ 18.30 an hour</p>\n<p><strong>Work Schedule:</strong> Monday to Friday</p>\n<p><strong>Hours:</strong> 7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.</p>\n<h3>Responsibilities</h3>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Supervise and support the team during the work shift.</p></li>\n <li><p>Assign tasks and organize daily operations.</p></li>\n <li><p>Ensure the smooth execution of site activities.</p></li>\n <li><p>Manage unexpected situations, including lateness, absences, and incidents.</p></li>\n <li><p>Train and mentor new employees.</p></li>\n <li><p>Communicate with management and prepare reports.</p></li>\n <li><p>Ensure compliance with procedures and safety regulations.</p></li>\n <li><p>Monitor the quality of work and service delivery.</p></li>\n</ul>\n<h3>Qualifications</h3>\n<ul>\n <li><p>6 months to 1 year of proven experience as a Security Officer or in a similar environment.</p></li>\n <li><p>Bilingual in French and English, both spoken and written, in order to prepare reports and communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders in both languages, as required by the position.</p></li>\n <li><p>Must successfully pass a comprehensive 5-year background check and maintain a clean security record.</p></li>\n <li><p>Basic computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) for reporting and documentation purposes.</p></li>\n <li><p>High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.</p></li>\n <li><p>Experience with CCTV systems, access control systems, and alarm monitoring software.</p></li>\n <li><p>Strong observation and surveillance skills.</p></li>\n <li><p>Valid Montreal Security Guard License (BSP).</p></li>\n <li><p>Valid First Aid Certification (CNESST) required.</p></li>\n <li><p>Must be legally authorized to work in Canada up to 40 hours per week.</p></li>\n <li><p>Must be at least 18 years of age.</p></li>\n <li><p>Valid driver's license.</p></li>\n <li><p>Customer Service Certification required.</p></li>\n</ul>\n<h3>Benefits</h3>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Career growth and advancement opportunities.</p></li>\n <li><p>Comprehensive health and dental benefits.</p></li>\n <li><p>Paid training and professional development programs.</p></li>\n</ul>\n<h3>Disclaimer</h3>\n<p>As part of our standard hiring process, all candidates being considered for employment with Allied Universal must undergo a background check.
