Maintains purchase and sales files. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(18, 30, 41); font-size: 10pt\">Tracks vessels and confirms estimated times of arrival. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(18, 30, 41); font-size: 10pt\">Ensures appropriate customs requirements are met. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(18, 30, 41); font-size: 10pt\">Obtains Letters of Credit from banks / LC team and reviews for accuracy of content. Prepares bank amendments and Letters of Credit. Opens Letters of Credit on purchase transactions. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(18, 30, 41); font-size: 10pt\">Maintains shipment and banking files. Maintains inventory system. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(18, 30, 41); font-size: 10pt\">Solves any problems through personal telephone contact with involved parties (brokers, suppliers, customers, shipping companies, etc.) </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(18, 30, 41); font-size: 10pt\">Conducts in-depth negotiation and analysis of freight costs and makes recommendations and decisions on carriers, routes and modes of transportation. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(18, 30, 41); font-size: 10pt\">Manages outsourced activities such as freight services for both domestic and international freight to assure standards are met, proper controls are in place, regulations are followed and desired outcomes are achieved. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(18, 30, 41); font-size: 10pt\">Prepares logistics cost forecasts for domestic and international shipments and submits to the Upper Management. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(18, 30, 41); font-size: 10pt\">Controls warehouse and inventory control activities. </span><span style=\"color: rgb(18, 30, 41); font-size: 10pt\">Reviews and modifies levels as demands change. Coordinates inbound and outbound material transportation to ensure there are no stock outs.
