This is a 2nd shift position and standard hours are Monday-Thursday from 3:30 pm to 2:00 am, with overtime, as needed. The pay starts at $28.30 per hour and there is a shift premium of $1.25 per hour for this shift. </strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>CNC Machinist Position Summary:</strong></p>\n<p>The CNC machinist sets up and operates machine tools within the work cell. For more information on Horton, Inc. please visit our web site at www.hortonww.com. </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>CNC Machinist Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Changes settings or programs and tooling inserts in order to achieve the proper dimensions of finished parts.</li>\n <li>Assisting less experienced machinists with more complex or more difficult set-ups.</li>\n <li>Operates one or more machine tools to produce high quality parts in an efficient manner.</li>\n <li>Performs daily and weekly routine machine maintenance.</li>\n <li>Moves between machines in the cell as directed by area manager. </li>\n <li>Sets up and operates machine tools within the work cell.</li>\n <li> As with everyone on the team, other duties may be assigned to support the overall success of the company.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong><u>CNC Machinist Qualifications:</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Requires experience with Mills and/or Lathe work experience as CNC Machinist or a 2-year technical degree. </li>\n <li>Blueprint reading</li>\n <li>Communicate and work well and efficiently with others</li>\n <li>Basic computer</li>\n <li>Intermediate inspection and measurement</li>\n <li>Basic machine setup and operation</li>\n <li>Basic math</li>\n <li>Must be authorized to work in the United States.
