    "jobDescription": "<p><b>Nature and Scope</b></p><p>The Aseptic Technician Lead role entails the execution of setup, breakdown, repairs, and preventive maintenance of equipment/systems used for conveying sterile containers and liquid filling of vials/ampules.</p><p></p><p><b>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</b></p><ul><li><p>Work with management and coordinate with production the break down and set up schedules of machinery in the Aseptic Environment.</p></li><li><p>Coordinate and schedule daily and weekly tasks and projects with other team members.</p></li><li><p>Troubleshoot equipment/system issues</p></li><li><p>Perform equipment preventive maintenance</p></li><li><p>Identifying and correcting unsafe conditions</p></li><li><p>Correct/report unsafe behaviors or equipment</p></li><li><p>Ensure proper inventory of change parts  are available in associated fill rooms</p></li><li><p>Act as liaison to supervision to ensure department goals are met.</p></li><li><p>Lead various projects and provide direction to staff.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Education Requirements and Qualifications</b></p><ul><li><p>High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational, trade school certification or Associates Degree highly preferred.</p></li><li><p>10 years of previous relevant experience in a manufacturing working environment required.</p></li><li><p>5 years prior experience in a leadership role within a manufacturing environment.</p></li><li><p>Use of small hand tools such as multi-meter, band saw, and drill.</p></li><li><p>Knowledge of 120V- 208V AC/ 3-24VDC, troubleshooting down to electronic components is a plus but not necessary.</p></li><li><p>Knowledge of 3phase electrical systems.</p></li><li><p>Knowledge of pneumatics, solid state relays, and transformers.</p></li><li><p>Knowledgeable in cGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) preferred.</p></li><li><p>Able to read and understand engineering electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.</p></li><li><p>Working knowledge of PLC based control systems.</p></li><li><p>Advanced knowledge of and ability to troubleshoot manufacturing machineries.</p></li><li><p>Well versed in safety programs (e.g. Lock out / Tag out, line breaking) Advanced skills including: electrical, welding, machinery troubleshooting, and mechanical equipment.</p></li><li><p>Basic Microsoft Office and Windows skills.</p></li><li><p>Flexibility to work multiple shifts and off hours during shutdown plus some overtime.  This position is part of a multi-shift operation and may require assignment to a regular off shift and/or weekends schedule</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Physical Environment and Requirements</b></p><ul><li><p>Employees must maintain a clean-shaven appearance each working shift to wear tight-fitting respirators properly.</p></li><li><p>Physically able to wear cleanroom/protective gowning and equipment, including but not limited to gowning, goggles, face shields, respirators, and protective gloves.  PPE and Respirators are essential for the health and safety of employees. </p></li><li><p>Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for prolonged periods of time while fulfilling job duties.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Expected Hourly Rate:</b></p><p>$33.71-$36.50</p><p></p><h2>The hourly rate displayed is the  minimum and maximum hourly rate of compensation for the role that the employer in good faith believes to be accurate at the time of the posting of an advertisement for the role.  Actual compensation for the role will be based on a number of different factors including but not limited to the candidate’s qualifications, education, knowledge, skills and experience.</h2><p></p><h2>American Regent also offers a competitive total rewards package which includes healthcare, life insurance, profit sharing, paid time off, matching 401k as well as a wide range of other benefits.</h2><p></p><p><span style=\"color:#000000\">American Regent celebrates diversity and we are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
