JOB TITLE: Cage Shift Supervisor ORGANIZATIONAL UNIT: Grand Casino Hotel & Resort SUPERVISOR: Cash Operations Manager FLSA: Non-Exempt Salary Rate: $18.00-$25.00 ALL FULL TIME POSITIONS: In addition to your pay, your salary also includes Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance. The Biweekly deduction from employee paycheck is $40.00 for Employee Only, $95.00 Employee plus Children, $120.00 Employee plus Spouse, and $140.00 Employee plus family. FUNCTIONS STATEMENT: • Service customers by maintaining and/or overseeing over all cashier activities in the Casino. • Oversee assigned cage sections to assure the accurate accounting of all transactions according to casino standards, while maintaining the integrity of all staff and procedures. MAJOR DUTIES: • Responsible for operating cash drawers and verifying various cash tickets. • Responsible for accurate pay out transactions. • Responsible for balancing drawer at end of shift. • Maintain compliance with gaming procedures and regulations. • Provide friendly and courteous customer service. • Responsible for operating cash register. • Compute daily receipts and balances. • Prepare revenue intake report for supervisor’s signature of approval at the end of each shift. • Provide supervision directly over Casino Cashiers. • Duties include customer complaints. • May be involved in employee coaching and disciplinary action. • Assure that all policies and procedures are in compliance. • Responsible for all jackpot payouts, i.e. W2-G’s and all Title 31 documents. • Provide outstanding customer service to all patrons. • Responsible for maintaining the integrity of all aspects of the casino. • May be asked to institute and enforce casino and gaming policies and procedures in accordance with the Systems of Internal Controls Manual . • Maintains security and accountability of casino bankroll and chip inventory. • Responsible for overseeing all Casino Cashiers and Credit Operations during shift. • Supervise and train Casino Cashiers. • Ensure an orderly and positive working environment in the Cage. • Schedule, train and evaluate all non-supervisory cage personnel. • Pre-audit and investigate variances, which include daily paperwork. • Maintain adequate cash inventories for all of the cage areas. • Responsible for Casino Cashier rotation on each assigned shift. • Provide oversight functions of Cashier personnel. • Responsible for assurance of game protection. • May be asked to oversee the overall Cage department during assigned shift, in accordance with management’s directives and the policies prescribed in the Systems of Internal Controls Manual . • Application and completion of federal cash reporting requirements including Title 31 compliance. • Complete all documentation as required for assigned shift. • Responsible for Cage contents and inventories. • Resolve financial discrepancies. • (Cage Shift Supervisor, Cont’d. FACTOR 1: KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED BY THE POSITION Knowledge of single entry ledger accounting principles. Knowledge of all casino games and operations. Knowledge of standards of cleanliness as prescribed by various compliance and enforcement agencies associated with the gaming industry. Knowledge of the characteristics of appropriate and inappropriate greetings and interaction with guests and customers. Knowledge of methods and techniques that assure protection of the Cage and Casino assets. Knowledge of how to administer the overall games during an assigned shift in accordance with management’s directives and the policies as prescribed in the Minimum Internal Control Standards . Knowledge of the prescribed methods of the application and completion of federal cash reporting requirement forms including Title 31 compliance regulations. Knowledge of all documentation requirements for each subordinate staff per shift. Knowledge of prescribed methods for tracking Cage assets and inventories. FACTOR 2: SUPERVISORY CONTROLS Incumbent is under the direct supervision of the Cage Manager. The supervisor assigns work, advises on changes in procedures, if any, and is available in the immediate area for assistance when required. Routine work is performed independently following set procedures. The work is reviewed closely for outcome and results, and for accuracy through spot checks, through complaints from customers and staff and through personal observation of the employee at work. FACTOR 3: GUIDELINES Incumbent uses personal experience and employer standard operating procedures, in addition to handbooks, policies and precedents. Guidelines include Citizen Potawatomi Nation regulations and directives, National Indian Gaming Commission laws, rules, regulations, manufacturer’s catalogs, handbooks, precedents, and files of previous projects. The incumbent implements adaptations in dealing with problems and unusual situations always with the best interests of the Citizen Potawatomi Nation and Fire Lake Entertainment Center in mind. Guidelines include the Minimum Internal Control Standards. FACTOR 4: COMPLEXITY As the level of difficulty increases, the incumbent considers differences in the courses of action and refines methods or develops new techniques, concepts, theories or programs to solve problems. Incumbent will frequently be faced with unusual circumstances and incomplete or conflicting data in addition to various staff and gaming patrons who have special interests; and individual priorities may conflict with existing policy and procedures. The level of difficulty will vary from a medium level to an intensive level of complex circumstances on a routine basis. The incumbent may be required to depart from past approaches from time to time or develop new approaches to meet major objectives without compromising prescribed Indian gaming industry principles. FACTOR 5: SCOPE AND EFFECT The purpose of the work is to conduct precise financial methods and contribute to the generation of a profit by providing quality services through the Fire Lake Entertainment Center Operations Department. The work affects the bottom line (profit) of the Fire Lake Entertainment Center and subsequently the reflection upon the image of the Citizen Potawatomi Nation as a successful entrepreneur. FACTOR 6: PERSONAL CONTACTS The range of contacts include ordinary local citizens who come to enjoy the amenities offered by the property, to international dignitaries in addition to those dignitaries who represent the Citizen Potawatomi Nation, National Indian Gaming Commission. FACTOR 7: PURPOSE OF CONTACTS The purpose of the contacts is to create a satisfied customer and contribute to the generation of a profit by providing quality services. FACTOR 8: PHYSICAL DEMANDS The incumbent will perform minimal physical efforts such as climbing, lifting, stooping, and reaching. The preponderancy of the physical exertion will be spent in standing for long periods of time. FACTOR 9: WORK ENVIRONMENT The work environment is typical of that in a busy casino with heavy cigarette smoke accompanied with a variety of competing noises and communications.

The Biweekly deduction from employee paycheck is $40.00 for Employee Only, $95.00 Employee plus Children, $120.00 Employee plus Spouse, and $140.00 Employee plus family.  </strong><br/> </p><p><br/></p><p><strong>FUNCTIONS STATEMENT: </strong></p><p>• Service customers by maintaining and/or overseeing over all cashier activities in the Casino. </p><p>• Oversee assigned cage sections to assure the accurate accounting of all transactions according to casino standards, while maintaining the integrity of all staff and procedures. </p><p><br/></p><p><strong>MAJOR DUTIES: </strong></p><p>• Responsible for operating cash drawers and verifying various cash tickets. </p><p>• Responsible for accurate pay out transactions. </p><p>• Responsible for balancing drawer at end of shift. </p><p>• Maintain compliance with gaming procedures and regulations. </p><p>• Provide friendly and courteous customer service. </p><p>• Responsible for operating cash register. </p><p>• Compute daily receipts and balances. </p><p>• Prepare revenue intake report for supervisor’s signature of approval at the end of each shift. </p><p>• Provide supervision directly over Casino Cashiers. </p><p>• Duties include customer complaints. </p><p>• May be involved in employee coaching and disciplinary action. </p><p>• Assure that all policies and procedures are in compliance. </p><p>• Responsible for all jackpot payouts, i.e. W2-G’s and all Title 31 documents. </p><p>• Provide outstanding customer service to all patrons. </p><p>• Responsible for maintaining the integrity of all aspects of the casino. </p><p>• May be asked to institute and enforce casino and gaming policies and procedures in accordance with the <u>Systems of Internal Controls Manual</u>. </p><p>• Maintains security and accountability of casino bankroll and chip inventory. </p><p>• Responsible for overseeing all Casino Cashiers and Credit Operations during shift. </p><p>• Supervise and train Casino Cashiers. </p><p>• Ensure an orderly and positive working environment in the Cage. </p><p>• Schedule, train and evaluate all non-supervisory cage personnel. </p><p>• Pre-audit and investigate variances, which include daily paperwork. </p><p>• Maintain adequate cash inventories for all of the cage areas. </p><p>• Responsible for Casino Cashier rotation on each assigned shift. </p><p>• Provide oversight functions of Cashier personnel. </p><p>• Responsible for assurance of game protection. </p><p>• May be asked to oversee the overall Cage department during assigned shift, in accordance with management’s directives and the policies prescribed in the <u>Systems of Internal Controls</u> <u>Manual</u>. </p><p>• Application and completion of federal cash reporting requirements including Title 31 compliance. </p><p>• Complete all documentation as required for assigned shift. </p><p>• Responsible for Cage contents and inventories. </p><p>• Resolve financial discrepancies. </p><p>• (Cage Shift Supervisor, Cont’d.
