If you have any questions, feel free to ask during the interview process!</p>\n<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>The Mechanical Engineer I is responsible for producing pricing and construction design packages and provide some technical support to the construction project teams. They are continuing to develop their system and application skills.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Specific responsibilities include:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Produce Engineering Documents:</strong>\n  <ul>\n   <li>The individual is responsible for producing two types of engineering documents; pricing design documents and construction design documents.</li>\n   <li>The production of these documents will be the responsibility of this individual.</li>\n   <li>Pricing design documents are used primarily for establishing budgets and documents value engineering for projects that Bernhard Engineering is not the EOR.</li>\n   <li>Construction Design Documents are primarily produced when Bernhard Engineering is the EOR.</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li><strong>Conceptual Design:</strong>\n  <ul>\n   <li>The individual is responsible for developing conceptual design strategies and associated documentation.</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li><strong>Technical Support for Operations:</strong>\n  <ul>\n   <li>Assists more senior engineers in providing solutions to operations teams for ongoing projects.</li>\n   <li>This includes, but is not limited to, code research, product research, detail drawings, and calculations.</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li><strong>Mentoring of Other Employees:</strong>\n  <ul>\n   <li>The individual is providing mentoring to other employees, either within or outside of the department.</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li><strong>Public Speaking:</strong>\n  <ul>\n   <li>The individual is required to present to groups of three or more.</li>\n  </ul></li>\n</ul>\n<p>This position is Full-Time, Non-Exempt, and reports to the Director of Engineering.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Required Education, Experience, and Qualifications</strong></p>\n<p><strong>     </strong></p>\n<p><strong>      </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>They must have 3-5 years experience.</li>\n <li>Must have BS in Mechanical Engineering</li>\n <li>Must have Professional Engineering License </li>\n <li>Effective verbal and written communication skills.</li>\n <li>Detail-oriented and willing to tackle various ongoing projects in a fast-paced environment.</li>\n <li>Versed in the industry and the Company's competitors.</li>\n <li>Ability to multitask and perform duties outside of the scope of work when necessary.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred Education, Experience, and Qualifications</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>N/A</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Travel Requirements</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>0-5% of time will be spent traveling to job site(s)/office location.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Physical/Work Environment Requirements</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.</li>\n <li>Climbing stairs.</li>\n <li>Remaining in a stationary position, often kneeling, standing, or sitting for prolonged periods.</li>\n <li>Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.</li>\n <li>Quiet environment.</li>\n <li>Light work that includes adjusting and/or moving objects up to 20 pounds.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Pay Range</h2>USD $103,175.00 - USD $132,765.00 /Yr.\n<h2></h2>\n<p>We are proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer of Minorities, Women, Protected Veterans, and Individuals with Disabilities, and participates in the e-Verify program.
