    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Senior Estimator- Data Centre / Battery Facility  </span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Job Purpose:</span></p>\n<p>To manage and lead the tendering process across a variety of construction projects, ensuring cohesive integration of all estimating disciplines to produce competitive and accurate net cost bids. The Senior Estimator also plays a key role in mentoring junior estimators and supporting their professional growth, while contributing to strategic relationships with clients and supply chain partners.</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Duties and Responsibilities</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Pre-Construction and Tender Management:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Liaise closely with the Pre-Construction Director on new and existing opportunities.</li>\n<li>Receive, review, and acknowledge all tender documents and amendments.</li>\n<li>Abstract scope into material and subcontract packages and initiate supplier engagement.</li>\n<li>Oversee or directly produce accurate net cost estimates.</li>\n<li>Ensure implementation and adherence to company tendering procedures.</li>\n<li>Manage tender queries and liaise with clients and the design team as needed.</li>\n<li>Identify and evaluate opportunities for design alternatives and value engineering.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Bid Development:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Cost up preliminaries and ensure risk items are clearly identified.</li>\n<li>Prepare and distribute the Tender Summary Sheet.</li>\n<li>Present tenders at adjudication meetings and contribute to pricing strategies.</li>\n<li>Finalize and submit Forms of Tender and supporting documentation.</li>\n<li>Assist with post-tender negotiations and support contract award activities.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Handover and Project Support:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Transfer all tender documentation and insights to the delivery team upon award.</li>\n<li>Participate in project handover meetings and design team meetings (for D&amp;B projects).</li>\n<li>Ensure consistent feedback from project delivery teams to inform future tenders.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">People and Process Development:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Coach and support the development of junior estimating staff.</li>\n<li>Maintain and refresh the supply chain in alignment with procurement strategies.</li>\n<li>Proactively engage with clients, specifiers, and partners to improve bid outcomes.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Qualifications and Experience</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Essential Qualifications:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or related field</li>\n<li>Membership or working toward ACIOB / SCSI accreditation</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Key Knowledge Areas:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Cleanroom / Data Centre / Dry Room Construction</li>\n<li>First Principle Estimation</li>\n<li>Construction contracts and documentation</li>\n<li>Modern construction methods, materials, and planning techniques</li>\n<li>Use of estimating software</li>\n<li>Procurement practices and supply chain management</li>\n<li>Understanding of Health &amp; Safety in construction</li>\n<li>Temporary works, project scheduling, and cost planning</li>\n<li>Negotiation and communication skills</li>\n<li>In-depth knowledge of local subcontractor market and pricing levels</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Quality &amp; Compliance Responsibilities</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Adherence to Management Responsibilities:</li>\n<li>Compliance with Construction Contract Procedures:</li>\n</ul>",
