Description
Leads end-to-end compensation and benefits programs to ensure market competitiveness, compliance, improved employee experience and efficient delivery. Manages benefits budget and vendor relationships and implements process improvements. Develops KPIs and provides strategic guidance to the team.
Responsibilities
Essential Duties:
Benefits:
Oversee benefits strategy, including health and welfare, retirement, and wellness programs, ensuring competitiveness and cost-effectiveness.
Handle relationships with brokers, consultants, and third-party administrators to optimize benefits offerings.
Oversee communication materials, booklets, employee meetings, and other media for communicating new plans and changes to employees.
Conduct market analysis and RFP processes to drive cost optimization and improve employee experience.
Compensation:
Lead the development and oversee the execution of all compensation programs, including base pay structures, incentive plans (STI, QIP), job architecture, and market benchmarking.
Oversee the annual salary planning process, including merit increases, promotions, and market adjustments.
Evaluate and enhance executive and broad-based compensation programs (ESPP, RockShare) and oversee the administration of all equity-related programs
Lead compensation analytics, using data insights to inform pay decisions and ensure market competitiveness.
General:
Develop and manage the budget to ensure effective and efficient program delivery; update the forecast and ensure accurate accruals of compensation and benefit spend.
Drive communication and change-management efforts to enhance employees' understanding of compensation and benefits programs.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including ERISA, ACA, SEC, FLSA, pay transparency, and other statutory requirements.
Lead compensation and benefits due diligence and integrations for future acquisitions or M&A activity.
Act as a strategic advisor to HR and business leaders on compensation and benefits standard processes and innovations.
Non-Essential Duties: Performs other duties as assigned.
All employees shall be in compliance with the Archrock Health Safety and Environmental Policy and local, statutory and/or regulatory requirements at all times.
Qualifications
Skills and Abilities:
Ability to:
Perform all essential duties.
Communicate with employees at all levels, including senior and executive leadership.
Work under pressure while meeting strict deadlines.
Handle multiple interruptions while continuing to meet deliverables.
Manage complex projects with little supervision.
Exhibit strong quantitative and analytical skills.
Knowledge:
Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced Excel.
Oracle Cloud preferred.
Solid knowledge ERISA, and compliance requirements.
Knowledge of executive compensation management (equity)
Demonstrated expertise in designing and implementing total rewards strategies.
Experience in brokerage management, RFP processes
Minimum Education and Certification :
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Preferred certifications: Certified Compensation Professional; Certified Benefits Professional
Minimum Experience:
7+ relevant experience in compensation and benefits, including supervisory experience of at least 3 years.
Experience in the energy and utilities sectors.
Leadership:
Recruit, retain, and develop a high-performing team to effectively implement compensation and benefits initiatives.
Partner closely with key stakeholders, including Finance, HR, and Legal teams, to align total rewards with business strategy.
Physical Demands: (Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions)
Regularly required to stand, walk, and bend, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, and reach with hands and arms.
Regularly required to sit for long periods of time, use a PC, and talk or hear.
Vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
Occasional lifting up to 10 pounds may be required.
Problem Solving and Innovation:
Analyzes service and budget performance data on an ongoing basis and develops recovery plans as needed.
Finds immediate solutions to prevent escalation and solutions to resolve conflicts- Implements preventative and corrective actions in a timely manner.
Expected to drive process improvements and to teach others to identify opportunities, provide ideas, methods, and innovations, and to implement improvements to enhance safety, teamwork, efficiency, and quality.

"InternalResponsibilitiesStr": "<p><strong>Essential Duties: </strong> </p>\n<p><strong>Benefits:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Oversee benefits strategy, including health and welfare, retirement, and wellness programs, ensuring competitiveness and cost-effectiveness.</li>\n <li>Handle relationships with brokers, consultants, and third-party administrators to optimize benefits offerings.</li>\n <li>Oversee communication materials, booklets, employee meetings, and other media for communicating new plans and changes to employees.</li>\n <li>Conduct market analysis and RFP processes to drive cost optimization and improve employee experience.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Compensation:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Lead the development and oversee the execution of all compensation programs, including base pay structures, incentive plans (STI, QIP), job architecture, and market benchmarking.</li>\n <li>Oversee the annual salary planning process, including merit increases, promotions, and market adjustments.</li>\n <li>Evaluate and enhance executive and broad-based compensation programs (ESPP, RockShare) and oversee the administration of all equity-related programs</li>\n <li>Lead compensation analytics, using data insights to inform pay decisions and ensure market competitiveness.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>General:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Develop and manage the budget to ensure effective and efficient program delivery; update the forecast and ensure accurate accruals of compensation and benefit spend.</li>\n <li>Drive communication and change-management efforts to enhance employees' understanding of compensation and benefits programs.</li>\n <li>Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including ERISA, ACA, SEC, FLSA, pay transparency, and other statutory requirements.</li>\n <li>Lead compensation and benefits due diligence and integrations for future acquisitions or M&A activity.</li>\n <li>Act as a strategic advisor to HR and business leaders on compensation and benefits standard processes and innovations.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Non-Essential Duties: </strong> Performs other duties as assigned.</p>\n<p><i>All employees shall be in compliance with the Archrock Health Safety and Environmental Policy and local, statutory and/or regulatory requirements at all times.</i></p>",
