This role blends pastoral shepherding with ministry direction, requiring a leader who is both musically proficient and capable of leading worship environments from the platform and through others.</span></p>\n<p><span> </span></p>\n<p><span>The leader ensures worship gatherings are theologically grounded, musically excellent, and spiritually engaging, while aligned with the vision of the Lead Pastor. They develop people, builds systems, and cultivates a healthy ministry culture that multiplies leaders and sustains excellence across campuses.</span></p>\n<p><span> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Primary Position Responsibilities</span></p>\n<p>Spiritual and Pastoral Leadership</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide pastoral care, discipleship, and spiritual oversight for worship and production leaders</li>\n<li>Foster a culture of spiritual health, humility, and unity across teams</li>\n<li>Ensure theological integrity in all worship elements</li>\n<li>Participate in pastoral duties as assigned (care, weddings, funerals, crisis response)</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Worship Experience Leadership</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead the planning and execution of weekend worship gatherings</li>\n<li>Design service flow in collaboration with teaching and production teams</li>\n<li>Ensure excellence across in-person and online environments</li>\n<li>Provide musical direction, shaping song selection, arrangements, and execution</li>\n<li>Regularly lead or co-lead worship, modeling both musical and spiritual leadership</li>\n<li>Oversee rehearsal strategy to ensure preparedness, engagement, and excellence</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Leadership Development</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Recruit, train, and develop volunteer and staff leaders</li>\n<li>Build sustainable leadership pipelines across all campuses</li>\n<li>Coach campus worship leaders and key team members</li>\n<li>Create a culture of multiplication where leaders develop leaders</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Creative and Strategic Alignment</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Partner with the Creative Director to shape cohesive worship environments</li>\n<li>Align worship, production, and creative elements with the Lead Pastor’s vision</li>\n<li>Lead planning for key services and events (e.g., Christmas, Easter, vision gatherings)</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Team and Systems Leadership</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead and develop Worship Arts staff</li>\n<li>Build systems, structures, and rhythms that support healthy ministry growth</li>\n<li>Oversee planning, rehearsals, and execution processes</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Success Outcomes </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Worship and production teams demonstrate strong spiritual health, unity, and engagement</li>\n<li>Volunteer pipeline grows, with clear pathways for onboarding and development</li>\n<li>Weekend worship gatherings are consistently executed with clarity, musical excellence, and spiritual impact</li>\n<li>Worship, production, and teaching are visibly aligned across all services and campuses</li>\n<li>Sustainable systems are in place that reduce burnout and increase leadership capacity</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Candidate Criteria</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Demonstrates a vibrant and growing relationship with Jesus Christ</li>\n<li>Aligns fully with the theology, mission, and values of Grace Fellowship Church</li>\n<li>Leads with humility, emotional maturity, and strong relational intelligence</li>\n<li>Proven ability to lead both people and systems effectively</li>\n<li>Strong communicator, team builder, and culture shaper</li>\n<li>Able to balance pastoral care with executional excellence</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Education and Experience</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience leading worship in a church of similar size or complexity</li>\n<li>Experience developing leaders in a multi-team or multi-campus environment preferred</li>\n<li>Strong musical proficiency, including vocal leadership and the ability to lead congregational worship with confidence and clarity</li>\n<li>Instrumental proficiency preferred (e.g., guitar, keys, or similar)</li>\n<li>Working knowledge of production environments (audio, lighting, video)</li>\n<li>Formal ministry training or ordination preferred but not required</li>\n<li>Must submit video samples of leading worship in a live congregational setting (required for consideration)</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Working Hours and Conditions</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Business Hours/Exceptions</span></p>\n<p>This position is full time with various hours, including evenings and weekends as required by ministry needs.
