    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Relocation Assistance: Available for candidates relocating from outside the state of Illinois.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Salary Range: $481.80 – $525.60 gross pay per shift; equivalent to $40.15 – $43.80 per hour.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Department: Cardiopulmonary / Respiratory Therapy</p>\n<p>Job Type: Per Diem | Non-Exempt </p>\n<p>Location: Evanston, Illinois</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>✔ Interview within 24 - 48 hours | Fast Offer Process✔ Work in a high-acuity, critical care environment and advanced respiratory cases</p>\n<p>✔ Competitive pay + shift differentials</p>\n<p>✔ Career growth within a large healthcare system</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The Respiratory Care Practitioner II (RCP II) / Respiratory Therapist (RRT) delivers respiratory therapy treatments and pulmonary diagnostic services in an acute care setting, including assessment, treatment planning, and implementation of care across all patient populations.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Administer respiratory therapy treatments (oxygen, aerosol, airway management)</li>\n <li>Manage ventilators, BiPAP/CPAP, and high-flow oxygen systems</li>\n <li>Perform pulmonary diagnostics (ABGs, PFTs)</li>\n <li>Implement patient-specific respiratory care plans</li>\n <li>Document care in the EMR</li>\n <li>Respond to code blue and rapid response events</li>\n <li>Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support patient outcomes</li>\n <li>May serve as Lead RCP during assigned shifts</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p>EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>1.     State Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) License required</p>\n<p>2.     Current BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.</p>\n<p>3.     Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) required</p>\n<p>4.     2 years experience as an RCP preferred.</p>\n<p>5.     ACLS certificate within 60 day of hire and maintain current.</p>\n<p>6.     NRP certificate preferred </p>\n<p>7.     PALS certificate within 60 days of hire and maintain current.</p>\n<p>8.     Associate Degree or Bachelor of Science degree preferred</p>\n<p>9.
