    "requisitionDescription": "<p>Generator Specialists inspect, test and repair generator stators, rotors and exciters and clients&rsquo; locations.</p><p><strong data-pasted=\"true\">KEY FUNCTIONS:</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\" data-pasted=\"true\"><li>Perform LOTO inspection prior to performing any work</li><li>Visually inspect and test the generator components</li><li>Perform repairs to generator components</li><li>Supervise crews during inspecting, testing and repair operations</li><li>Communicate with site customer contacts as an on site technical expert</li><li>Ensure safe completion of all defined work scope tasks</li><li>Maintain all assigned test equipment and tooling&nbsp;</li><li>Book all travel and lodging as per company policy</li><li>Set up and perform all applicable stator testing to include but not limited to El Cid, Doble, WTD, Hipot, PI, Step test, RTD testing, Bump test.</li></ul><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 0in;\"><li>Set up and perform all applicable rotor testing to include but not limited to Megger, PI, RSO, impedance, diode testing</li><li>Perform stator and rotor rewinds, rewedges, end winding stability installs, cleaning, blocking repairs, core torque etc.</li></ul><p>*This job description is a summary of the primary job scope and should not be assumed as an all-inclusive description*</p><p><strong data-pasted=\"true\">WORK QUALIFICATIONS:</strong></p><p><strong><em>Required:</em></strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 0in;\"><li>Possess a valid driver&rsquo;s license with a clean record</li><li>2-5 years of generator repair experience</li><li>Solid understanding of Ac and Dc electrical theory</li><li>2 years&rsquo; experience in supervising crews&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong data-pasted=\"true\">EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:</strong></p><p data-pasted=\"true\"><strong><em>Required:</em></strong></p><ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent</li></ul><p><strong data-pasted=\"true\">WORK ENVIRONMENT:</strong></p><p data-pasted=\"true\"><em>Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.</em></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Willingness to work a flexible schedule to meet the demands of the role.</li><li>Must be able to sit, stand and walk for long periods of time or until the end of the assigned shift.</li><li>Must be able to lift 40 lbs. safely and properly, as needed throughout the assigned shift with or without assistance.</li><li>Must be able to bend/stoop, squat, reach above shoulder height, crouch, balance, and push/pull.</li></ul><p data-pasted=\"true\"><strong>ADA JOB REQUIREMENTS:</strong></p><p>Reasonable accommodations will be made to ensure that the essential functions of the job can be performed and not hinder the employee&#39;s performance due to physical, mental, or emotional disability.</p><p><strong>EQUAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY:</strong></p><p>Allied Power Group is an equal opportunity workplace.
