We encourage you to learn more about opportunities with Pioneer Metal Finishing and join our team today!</p>\n<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p><strong><u>Job Summary</u></strong></p>\n<p>Performs maintenance, installations, and repairs of equipment and building support systems that are necessary to the operation of the plant and offices at the facility.  </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong><u>Essential Duties/Responsibilities</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Works on job duties and assignments as they relate to maintenance, repair, installing, fabricating, adjusting, troubleshooting, and any other maintenance duties as needed.</li>\n <li>Responsible for scheduled preventive maintenance checks.</li>\n <li>Responsible for departmental inventory control.</li>\n <li>Diagnose & resolve equipment malfunctions and operating difficulties related to, but not limited to, cranes/hoists, 3 phase motors, chillers, cooling towers, boilers, HVA units, pumps, exhaust fans, etc.</li>\n <li>Perform mechanical, electrical and plumbing operations.</li>\n <li>Performs start-up and shut down functions on plant equipment and facilities as required.</li>\n <li>Responds to emergency calls on a twenty-four-hour basis. </li>\n <li>Works consistently to resolve sited safety issues in a timely manner.</li>\n <li>Responsible for maintaining departmental documentation as required. </li>\n <li>Workings safely at all times in compliance with OSHA safety and EPA regulations.</li>\n <li>Adheres to all Quality System procedures and work instructions.</li>\n <li>Participate in the handling, labeling, containment and disposal of hazardous waste.</li>\n <li>Performs other miscellaneous job duties and related functions as needed. </li>\n</ul>\n<h5>Physical/Environmental/Chemical Hazards</h5>\n<ul>\n <li>Sharp parts, sharp tooling, heaving carts, seasonal high temperature and humidity levels, working at heights, moderate noise levels, limited hand and air tool use, compressed air (must use hearing protection).</li>\n <li>Must be able to wear respiratory protection when required.</li>\n <li>Must be able to lift 30-50 lbs. unassisted.</li>\n <li>Potential splash exposure near process lines.</li>\n <li>Various chemicals used in process.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><u> </u></strong></p>\n<p><strong><u>Education/Qualifications</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.</li>\n <li>Requires broad based knowledge of electrical, mechanical and plumbing acquired through hands on training. </li>\n <li>Technical degree with a minimum of two (2) years work-related experience preferred. </li>\n <li>Strong oral and written communication skills.</li>\n <li>Blueprint & schematic knowledge helpful.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Benefits Summary</h2>\n<p><em>We offer the following benefits to <strong>All Employees</strong> immediately upon hire:</em></p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Next-Day Pay: </strong>Don’t wait for payday; access your daily pay the next day!</li>\n <li><strong>Quarterly Incentive Program: </strong>Paid based on hours worked and business results</li>\n <li>Paid company holidays</li>\n <li>Shift Differentials for 2nd and 3rd shift</li>\n <li>Employee Assistance Program</li>\n <li>Wellness Program</li>\n <li>On-the-Job Training and Advancement Opportunities</li>\n <li>Employee Recognition and Rewards Program</li>\n <li>Fun Recognition Events and more!</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><em>Full-Time Employees</em></strong><em> (30 + hours per week) may participate in the following benefits:</em></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Medical, dental, and vision insurance (Eligibility begins on the 1stof the month, following your start date)</li>\n <li><strong>Paid Time Off: </strong>80 Hours earned in your first year</li>\n <li>Access to Garner Incentive or a Health Savings Account up to $3,000 annually</li>\n <li>401(k) plan with a company match of up to 2% of bi-weekly contribution</li>\n <li>Flexible Spending Accounts</li>\n <li>Company-paid Life and Accidental Death & Dismemberment insurance</li>\n <li>Tuition reimbursement</li>\n <li>Additional benefits for employee purchase: life insurance, critical illness, voluntary accident, and accidental death & dismemberment</li>\n <li>LiveHealth Online, virtual doctor visits</li>\n</ul>",
