Create aesthetic and easy-to-use user interfaces that reduce the operational load of operators and maintain high guardrails for safety
Create and apply techniques, tools, and infrastructure that decrease software complexity and maintenance over time
Maintain high software standards and software engineering best practices across the full stack
Regularly sit with Operators to obtain firsthand feedback of how the team's products are used and what improvements can be made
Demonstrate a strong attitude to learn and adapt quickly, diving deep into new technologies as needed to become an expert in frontend and backend technologies alike (while prior expertise in key areas is a plus)
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors degree in STEM & 1+ year of industry and/or internship experience; OR 3+ years of professional software development experience in lieu of a STEM degree.
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

Experience with version control, continuous integration, and continuous delivery systems
Expertise in profiling and improving application performance
Experience with build systems (Make, Bazel/Pants/Buck, Gradle) and package management tools (pip, npm)
Strong attention to detail
A drive to deliver exceptional operations tools and willingness to own all outcomes
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to work extended hours or weekends as needed for mission critical deadlines
Ability to work on an "on-call" basis on a weeklong rotational schedule
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
Pay range:
