    "requisitionDescription": "<div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\" data-pasted=\"true\"><strong>About the Position:</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">As a Wheel Core Buyer, you will be responsible for actively sourcing and purchasing automotive wheel cores from individual vendors, shops, recyclers, and suppliers across a designated region. This is a field-based, sales-centric role that requires daily travel, in-person vendor visits, price negotiation, and deal execution.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">This position is not administrative in nature. The role functions as a road-runner Buyer, focused on building relationships, negotiating purchases, and securing wheel cores to support remanufacturing operations within the Collision Business Unit.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">The ideal candidate is comfortable being on the road daily, has strong sales instincts, and thrives in face-to-face negotiations.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>What You&rsquo;ll Be Doing:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Travel daily within your assigned region to identify, source, and purchase automotive wheel cores from vendors, recyclers, body shops, and other suppliers.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Conduct in-person negotiations, pricing discussions, and deal closings with vendors.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to ensure a consistent pipeline of wheel cores.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Secure competitive pricing while maintaining quality standards and supply continuity.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Coordinate payment and logistics, including scheduling pickups or deliveries to remanufacturing locations.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Actively prospect new vendors through market research, cold outreach, and on-site visits.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Represent the company professionally as the primary point of contact for regional wheel core buying.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, vendor interactions, and deliveries.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Monitor regional market trends, pricing fluctuations, and competitor activity.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Partner with internal procurement, logistics, and remanufacturing teams to align purchasing with operational needs.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to availability, quality, delivery timing, or vendor concerns.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Support additional regions or buying needs as business demands require.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Around 25% overnight travel.</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Skills and Experience:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Minimum 2 years of experience in automotive repair, sales, procurement, or core/material buying, preferably automotive-related.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">High School Diploma/GED Required</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Demonstrated success in face-to-face sales or purchasing negotiations.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Familiarity with automotive cores, specifically wheels/rims (remanufacturing experience a plus).</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Comfortable working independently and managing a travel-heavy schedule</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Strong organizational skills to manage multiple vendor relationships and transactions.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic purchasing or CRM tools.</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Pay and Benefits&nbsp;</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Competitive pay</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Paid Time Off </li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Paid Company Holidays</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">401K</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>About Us&nbsp;</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">All Star Auto Parts was acquired by TERREPOWER (formerly BBB Industries) in August 2024 and is now the Collision Business Unit.
