We manage projects from 50 kW to 10 MW DC across rooftops, carports, and ground mounts in the U.S. No solar experience? No problem, we provide training! As an Solar O&amp;M Technician I, you'll inspect, maintain, and troubleshoot solar energy systems while learning from senior technicians. If you're reliable, detail-oriented, and safety-focused, we want you on our team.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>This role requires regular travel and dispatch assignments throughout Maine to support operational and project demands.</p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS</span><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Safety:\n<ul>\n<li>Adhere to all safety regulations and company procedures.</li>\n<li>Identify and report potential hazards.</li>\n<li>Utilize appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).</li>\n<li>Participate in safety training and Pre-job briefs.</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li>Inspections &amp; Preventative Maintenance:\n<ul>\n<li>Conduct routine inspections of solar energy systems.</li>\n<li>Perform preventative maintenance tasks, such as inspecting modules, checking wiring, and tightening connections.</li>\n<li>Identify and report any equipment deficiencies or anomalies.</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li>Troubleshooting:\n<ul>\n<li>Assist senior technicians with basic troubleshooting of solar energy systems.</li>\n<li>Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and isolate system issues.</li>\n<li>Perform minor repairs under supervision.</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li>Documentation:\n<ul>\n<li>Complete all required documentation accurately and in a timely manner.</li>\n<li>Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance, and repairs.</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li>Learning &amp; Knowledge:\n<ul>\n<li>Actively participate in training programs to enhance technical skills and knowledge.</li>\n<li>Demonstrate a willingness to learn and continuously improve.</li>\n<li><span>Able to travel on short notice and be available during non-traditional working hours.</span></li>\n<li>Up to 50% travel may be expected at times.</li>\n<li><span>Other duties as assigned.</span></li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">QUALIFICATIONS</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>High school diploma or equivalent.</li>\n<li>0-1 year of experience in the solar industry or related field.</li>\n<li>Experience with construction or electrical work.</li>\n<li>Valid driver's license and clean driving record.</li>\n<li>Ability to work as part of a team.</li>\n<li>Comfortable operating in low voltage and non-hazardous situations with supervision</li>\n<li>Applicants should already be comfortable using hand tools, impact drills, electric power tools, and hammer drills.</li>\n<li>Strong written/verbal communication skills.<br></li>\n<li>Strong mechanical aptitude, time management, and troubleshooting skills.</li>\n<li>Must be based out of the Roseville, MN region. </li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Be able to drive a vehicle confidently and with a high degree of safety.</span></li>\n<li><span>Be able to stand for long periods of time and walk distances up to three miles a day.</span></li>\n<li><span>Be able to navigate ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps while maintaining 3 points of contact.</span></li>\n<li><span>Have the visual acuity for depth perception, no field of vision issues, and to distinguish between colors.</span></li>\n<li><span>Be comfortable working in a variety of climate conditions which may include but are not limited to, extreme heat (temperatures above 100°F) or extreme cold (temperatures below 32°F) for periods of more than one hour.</span></li>\n<li><span>Be able to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment visas at this time.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><em>The expected annual<span> </span><span>wage for this opportunity: $20-23/ Per Hour</span><span> </span>encompassing base pay.
