Who We Are: CAMBA is a community of staff, volunteers, clients, donors, neighbors and partners who work together to build an inclusive New York City, where all children and adults have access to the resources and supports they need to thrive. We take a comprehensive approach by offering more than 160 integrated programs in: Education & Youth Development, Family Support, Job Training & Employment Support Services, Health, Housing, and Legal Services. We reach more than 65,000 individuals and families each year at our 90 locations, including 10,000 youth. CAMBA serves a diverse cross section of New Yorkers from new mothers in Brownsville to job seekers in the Rockaways. More than half of our clients are immigrants and refugees from around the globe. Over 85% of our families are in living in poverty, reflecting the challenges faced by nearly 1.7 million New Yorkers today.
CAMBA’s Housing Services CAMBA’s supportive/affordable housing portfolio consists of over 9,000 units served including 4,500 contracted units and 4,500 community units, touching approximately 20,000 lives annually. There are currently 44 congregate sites across five boroughs with 4 in the pipeline. The scattered site units account for 800 of the contracted units with property management functions provided by CAMBA (rent collection, utility payment and maintenance/repairs). CAMBA Housing Services provides case management and supportive services promoting housing stability and self-sufficiency. In addition to social services, CAMBA security guards are stationed 24/7 in 27 buildings across the portfolio.
CAMBA’s Supportive Housing Services operates approximately over 1,600 units of transitional, emergency, scattered site and permanent congregate housing. These programs provide services to formerly homeless/special needs individuals and families including case management, crisis intervention, independent living skills training, recreation, socialization and other supports

What The Program Director Does:
Maintain professional relationships with clients and client confidentiality. Practice Universal Precautions/Standard Protocol & Procedures. Comply with any and all Federal, State, City and CAMBA security and privacy polices intended to protect the security and privacy of individually identifiable health information. Make recommendations to the appropriate Executive Vice-President regarding organizational policies, procedures, and protocols. Clearly communicate both CAMBA’s and funders’ policies, requirements, guidelines, and program performance targets to staff. Ensure that all direct and subordinate staff complies with CAMBA’s and funders’ polices and rules. Ensure that any disciplinary action taken, regarding staff, is in compliance with CAMBA’s disciplinary policy and procedure. Ensure that all goals, targets, and performance outcomes are met on a monthly/cycle basis. Develop and implement Quality Assurance measures to ensure quality service delivery to clients. Supervise, review and approve staffs’ and subordinates’ training, vacation and leave requests. Approve staff’s travel and expense vouchers. Review and sign time sheets. Prepare performance appraisals for direct reporting staff. Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of all staff weekly/monthly/quarterly/semester/annual reports. Prepare, review and submit weekly reports and statistical information for both senior management and funder use. Analyze program and demographic data to make programmatic improvements. Communicate with peers on issues related to client progress and best program practices. Conduct regular staff meetings. Confer with the appropriate Executive Vice-President and/or other CAMBA management/Executive Staff as needed regarding programmatic and personnel issues. Create , monitor and maintain multiple budgets Submit proposals, work plans and scopes of services for new and existing supportive housing as needed. Represent CAMBA at funder/outside agency/community meetings as requested. Immediately report to the appropriate Executive Vice-President or Chief Administrative Officer any: monitoring visits or funders’ events; significant events; any incident that might subject CAMBA to liability. Make hiring and firing recommendations to appropriate Vice Presidents, Program Directors, Senior Program Managers, Program Managers, and Executive Vice-Presidents in consultation and agreement with Human Resources. Other duties as assigned. Education, Licenses and/or Certifications Required:
Licensed Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology or a related field. A license is required of these Master's Degrees: Social Work (LMSW or LCSW), Mental Health Counseling, Counseling/Guidance, Art Therapy. Minimum Experiences and Skills Required:
5 years of applicable experience. Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in clinical supervision, housing issues and working with individuals living with mental illness, substance abuse issues, HIV/AIDS and other special needs. Knowledge of supportive housing services and operations. Experience in Program and Staff Development Compensation : 160,000-175,000
When salary ranges are listed, the range would represent the low and high end for the applicable position & program. The salary offered would be based on various factors unique to each program and candidate. This includes but is not limited to experience, education, budget and/or program size, internal equity, skills and other factors that may be required for the position and organization.
Status: Full-time (35 hours per week) (Monday-Friday 9AM-5PM)

These programs provide services to formerly homeless/special needs individuals and families including case management, crisis intervention, independent living skills training, recreation, socialization and other supports<br><br><br><b>Position: Senior Vice President</b><br><b>Reports To: Executive Vice President</b><br><b>Location: </b><b>Beach 21st </b>(1047 Beach 21<sup>st</sup> Street , Far Rockaway NY 11691)<br><b> </b><b>Belmont Daniel </b>(101 Daniel Low Terrace1, Staten Island ,NY 10301)<br><b> Buckingham </b>(11-15 Port Richmond, Staten Island NY 10302)<br><br> <b>Castleton </b>(185 St Marks Pl, Staten Island ,NY 10301)<br><br><b> Seaview Estates </b>(201 Hamilton Avenue, Staten Island NY10302)<br><br><b> T-Building </b>(82-41 Parson Blvd, Jamaica, NY 11432)<br><br><b><u>What The Program Director Does:</u></b></p><ul><li>Maintain professional relationships with clients and client confidentiality.</li><li>Practice Universal Precautions/Standard Protocol & Procedures.</li><li>Comply with any and all Federal, State, City and CAMBA security and privacy polices intended to protect the security and privacy of individually identifiable health information.</li><li>Make recommendations to the appropriate Executive Vice-President regarding organizational policies, procedures, and protocols.</li><li>Clearly communicate both CAMBA’s and funders’ policies, requirements, guidelines, and program performance targets to staff.</li><li>Ensure that all direct and subordinate staff complies with CAMBA’s and funders’ polices and rules.</li><li>Ensure that any disciplinary action taken, regarding staff, is in compliance with CAMBA’s disciplinary policy and procedure.</li><li>Ensure that all goals, targets, and performance outcomes are met on a monthly/cycle basis.</li><li>Develop and implement Quality Assurance measures to ensure quality service delivery to clients.</li><li>Supervise, review and approve staffs’ and subordinates’ training, vacation and leave requests.</li><li>Approve staff’s travel and expense vouchers.</li><li>Review and sign time sheets.</li><li>Prepare performance appraisals for direct reporting staff.</li><li>Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of all staff weekly/monthly/quarterly/semester/annual reports.</li><li>Prepare, review and submit weekly reports and statistical information for both senior management and funder use.</li><li>Analyze program and demographic data to make programmatic improvements.</li><li>Communicate with peers on issues related to client progress and best program practices.</li><li>Conduct regular staff meetings.</li><li>Confer with the appropriate Executive Vice-President and/or other CAMBA management/Executive Staff as needed regarding programmatic and personnel issues.</li><li>Create , monitor and maintain multiple budgets</li><li>Submit proposals, work plans and scopes of services for new and existing supportive housing as needed.</li><li>Represent CAMBA at funder/outside agency/community meetings as requested.</li><li>Immediately report to the appropriate Executive Vice-President or Chief Administrative Officer any: monitoring visits or funders’ events; significant events; any incident that might subject CAMBA to liability.</li><li>Make hiring and firing recommendations to appropriate Vice Presidents, Program Directors, Senior Program Managers, Program Managers, and Executive Vice-Presidents in consultation and agreement with Human Resources.</li><li>Other duties as assigned.</li></ul><p><strong><u>Education, Licenses and/or Certifications Required:</u></strong></p><ul><li>Licensed Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology or a related field. A license is required of these Master's Degrees: Social Work (LMSW or LCSW), Mental Health Counseling, Counseling/Guidance, Art Therapy.</li></ul><p><strong><u>Minimum Experiences and Skills Required: </u></strong></p><ul><li>5 years of applicable experience.</li></ul><p><strong><u>Preferred Qualifications:</u></strong></p><ul><li>Experience in clinical supervision, housing issues and working with individuals living with mental illness, substance abuse issues, HIV/AIDS and other special needs.</li><li>Knowledge of supportive housing services and operations.</li><li>Experience in Program and Staff Development</li></ul><p><strong>Compensation</strong>: 160,000-175,000<br><em>When salary ranges are listed, the range would represent the low and high end for the applicable position & program. The salary offered would be based on various factors unique to each program and candidate.
