    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">PRIMARY FUNCTION:  The Equipment Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of multiple pieces of construction equipment. The Equipment Operator is proficient in the use of a diverse range of construction equipment, including, Excavators, Loaders, Dozers, Rollers, Graders, Skid Steers and other pieces of equipment.<br><br></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">TYPICAL DUTIES: </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Operate multiple pieces of construction equipment used in construction in accordance with company procedures and safety regulations. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Ensure proper operation of equipment by performing pre-operation and regular checks on their functionality.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Maneuver heavy equipment into loading or unloading positions, following signals from crew as needed; check that the vehicle position is correct and any special loading equipment is properly positioned. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Ensure a sound understanding of the issues involving ground disturbance. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Use various pieces of equipment to perform fine grading and finishing, sloping and banking, backfilling, demolition, ditching, loading, excavating and stockpiling.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Perform routine cleaning and maintenance to ensure smooth operation of the equipment. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Must ensure a solid understanding of, and comply with the principles of the company’s Policies and Procedures.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Promote, execute and adhere to the company’s Safety Program.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Perform other duties as assigned.<br><br></span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">QUALIFICATIONS &amp; EXPERIENCE:  </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">3+ years of experience operating equipment.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Knowledge of proper operation of equipment as well as safety standards.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Thorough knowledge of construction.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">OSHA competent person trained in trench and excavation safety.<br><br></span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">PHYSICAL DEMANDS:  </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle, feel or operate objects, tools or controls, and reach with hands and arms. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Frequently required to walk, stand, talk, hear, see, sit, climb, balance, stoop, and kneel.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Lift or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Specific vision ability required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.<br><br></span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">COMMENTS: Travel to various worksites may be required.
