    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>The purpose of this job is to collect accounts charged off as a loss and to work with law firms to manage the collection of legal accounts, including but not limited to asset location, attending court, negotiation of settlements and loan work outs.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Contact customers for repayment</li>\n <li>Assign accounts to attorneys</li>\n <li>Locate and coordinate the sale of collateral</li>\n <li>Coordinate legal accounts and work with attorneys</li>\n <li>Attend court hearings</li>\n <li>Locate debtors and assets to garnish</li>\n <li>Perform additional duties as assigned</li>\n <li>Collect and research documentation necessary for legal action</li>\n <li>Portfolio management</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>High school diploma </li>\n <li>2 years of experience in collections or customer service </li>\n <li>Working knowledge of collection laws and policies</li>\n <li>Familiarity with bankruptcy procedures</li>\n <li>Strong telephone communication and negotiation skills</li>\n <li>Effective organizational and problem-solving skills</li>\n <li>Investigative and research skills</li>\n <li>Basic PC skills</li>\n <li>Must be able to multitask </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:  </strong>Must be able to sit for long periods of time and use computer keyboard and/or mouse, while viewing computer screens.</p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>Note:</strong> This is a brief description of this position and is not limited to those described herein.
