    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p><strong>AMERICAN SYSTEMS</strong>, an <strong>100%</strong> <strong>employee-owned</strong> federal government contractor, is seeking a<strong> Logistics and Finance Analyst</strong> and be a part of an <strong>empowered accountability culture</strong> where each <strong>employee-owner</strong> has a meaningful stake in the future success and growth of the company!</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>As a <strong>Logistics and Finance Analyst</strong> supporting the Advanced Sensors Technology (AST) Program Office, you will:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Provides acquisition logistic support including sustainability, reliability, maintainability, and availability of the system's components.</li>\n <li>Provides support to the logistics function preparing logistics documentation to establish the range and depth of spares, tools, test equipment and related manuals to be deployed and stocked.</li>\n <li>Determines maintenance and repair materials and standards required for deployment.</li>\n <li>Develops requisitions for and manages records of equipment, components, repair parts and related manuals; tracks logistics materials and parts for proper allocation of storage facilities; reviews configuration changes to evaluate impact on logistics deployment; documents equipment, component and parts conditions; and identifies logistic support documentation to be included such as drawings, technical manuals, and maintenance requirement cards to support lifecycle of product.</li>\n <li>Works on logistics and maintainability programs on issues such as technical evaluation and identification of systems logistics requirements and resources.</li>\n <li>Analyzes, organizes, plans and administers various phases of day-to-day provisioning, spares, or maintenance/repair activities for one or more programs.</li>\n <li>Reviews contractual documents, technical data, customer usage data, customer maintenance practices, customer operation characteristics, and related reports for assigned contracts to determine spares provisioning or maintenance/repair requirements.</li>\n <li>Identifies, prioritizes, and assesses key logistics assets and infrastructures.</li>\n <li>Conducts distribution and network studies, monitors inventory and analyzes requirements to develop strategies to achieve desired delivery times.</li>\n <li>Generally, requires knowledge of the Federal Supply System as well as automated and manual supply systems and equipment serviceability standards and criteria.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Active <strong>TS Clearance with SCI eligibility</strong></li>\n <li>Bachelor's degree and 11-12 years of related work experience</li>\n <li>Demonstrated expertise of government supply systems, MILSTRIP, MIL-STD-3018 and SD-19 concepts.</li>\n <li>Understanding of <strong>funding appropriations</strong> for supply and logistics requirements.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Other valued experience that distinguishes ideal candidates:</p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Military </strong>supply background</li>\n <li>Proficiency supporting <strong>ACAT-I programs</strong></li>\n <li><strong>High proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, Sharepoint, and Teams</strong></li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Pay Transparency Statement</h2>AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is USD $140,000.00/Yr. - USD $165,000/Yr. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
