&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">&nbsp;</span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"><strong>MAJOR DUTIES:</strong>&nbsp; &nbsp;The Residential Aide Supervisor works closely with the Program Director and is responsible for the provision of non-clinical services to clients enrolled in residential services. &nbsp;The employee provides oversight and supervision for all Residential Aides and the services they provide in maintaining a therapeutic milieu. &nbsp;In fulfilling these duties, the incumbent performs the following duties independently:</span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">&nbsp;</span></p><ol><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Scheduling and supervision of all Residential Aides;</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Coordination, ordering and inventorying supplies for all residential services;</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Assisting Transportation Specialist with organizing transportation;</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Ensuring full communication between the clinical staff team members and the milieu staff team members;</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Ensures that continuous quality improvement addresses both patient needs and compliance with WACs, RCWs, and Federal Regulations;</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Ensures that the agency treatment programs are maintained in such a way to be in substantial compliance with Division of Behavioral Health and Recovery (DBHR) and Department of Health (DOH) certification reviews;</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Prepares and submits statistical reports to the Program Manager and Clinical Director for program compliance with contract performance indicators;</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Monitor all safety concerns in the residential units and reporting them immediately;</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Orientation of all new Residential Aides to their assigned unit; &nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Ensure compliance with all applicable Lifeline Connections contracts; and</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Prepares and presents in-service training to Residential Aides that meets the needs of the changing trends in the milieu.</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Other duties as assigned</li></ol><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">&nbsp;</span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"><strong>KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED BY THE POSITION</strong></span></p><ol start=\"1\" type=\"1\"><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">High School diploma or equivalent; &nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">College coursework in substance use dependency preferred;&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Experience and training in the delivery of services to alcohol and other drug effected individuals and their families;</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Demonstrated experience providing supervision and/or mentoring to subordinate staff or co-workers required; &nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Current unencumbered driver license and proof of current car insurance required for Professional Services Unit staff members</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Demonstrated experience at providing a safe and supportive environment for individuals early in recovery from alcohol and other drugs.</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">CPR/1<sup>st</sup> Aid certification required;</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing;</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Great attendance; and</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Ability to work well with others.</li></ol><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">&nbsp;</span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"><strong>GUIDELINES</strong></span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">The position requires that the incumbent maintain standards delineated in WAC 246-341, or its successor, and maintains licensure with the Department of Health. &nbsp;The incumbent relies on specialized training and/or equivalent experience in the field of substance use dependency treatment, DBHR, WACs and RCWs of Washington and the performance standards developed for the position.</span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"><strong>COMPLEXITY</strong></span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">The incumbent provides program oversight and supervision to clients who differ widely in age and socioeconomic status and who may possess a variety of chronic and serious social, behavioral and psychological problems. &nbsp; Autonomy, maturity, sound judgment, and creativity are required to help identify and monitor policies and milieu activities that will meet the complex needs of both patients and staff.</span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"><strong>PERSONAL CONTACTS</strong></span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Contacts are with members of the treatment team, patients, significant others of the clients, Board of Directors, representatives of various community agencies specializing in the treatment of chemical abuse and related community representatives including lawyers, probation officers, and other court officials. &nbsp;All personal contacts are carried out in accordance with federal and state laws dealing with the confidentiality of alcohol and drug abuse patient records.</span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"><strong>PHYSICAL DEMANDS</strong></span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">While performing the essential functions of the job, the employee is regularly required to sit, speak clearly, hear and use hands and fingers to manipulate writing utensils and keys on a keyboard. &nbsp; The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, reach with hands or arms, stoop, kneel, crouch and/or move a maximum of 20 lbs. &nbsp;Occasional heavy lifting may be required.</span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"><strong>WORKING ENVIRONMENT</strong></span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Most working hours are spent indoors in offices or meeting rooms. &nbsp;Occasional supervision of outdoor activities, visits to community agencies, and participation in staff retreats and staff development activities may be required.</span></p><p><br></p><p style='box-sizing: border-box;
