We’re proud to combine the resources of a large company with the values and care of a family-run business. </p>\n<h2>Essential Job Summary:</h2>\n<p>The baler bagger operates baling machines to compress recyclable or waste materials into uniform bales, then secures them with wire, twine, or other binding materials. The role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and adherence to safety and quality standards </p>\n<h2>Essential Job Functions: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned.</h2>\n<ul>\n <li><p><strong>Operate baling machines</strong> to compress materials into bales of the correct size and weight</p></li>\n <li><p><strong>Load and unload</strong> materials into the baler, ensuring proper alignment and flow for efficient operation </p></li>\n <li><p><strong>Secure bales</strong> with wire, twine, or other binding materials, ensuring they are tightly bound and safe for handling </p></li>\n <li><p><strong>Label bales</strong> accurately for identification and tracking </p></li>\n <li><p><strong>Maintain equipment</strong> by performing routine checks, cleaning, and minor repairs; follow preventative maintenance schedules </p></li>\n <li><p><strong>Weigh bales</strong> and log production data, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company records </p></li>\n <li><p><strong>Follow safety protocols</strong> and wear appropriate protective gear </p></li>\n <li><p><strong>Coordinate with team members</strong> to maintain smooth workflow and meet production targets </p></li>\n <li><strong>Keep work areas clean and organized</strong> to prevent jams or malfunctions</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Requirements and Qualifications:</h2>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Ability to operate heavy machinery and forklifts </p></li>\n <li><p>Basic mechanical skills for troubleshooting and maintenance </p></li>\n <li><p>Strong attention to detail and quality control.</p></li>\n <li><p>Good physical condition to lift, bend, and reach overhead (often up to 50 lbs) </p></li>\n <li><p>Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.</p></li>\n <li><p>Knowledge of recycling or waste management processes is a plus </p></li>\n <li>High school diploma or GED equivalent; forklift certification is a plus</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Physical Demands</h2>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Standing for long periods.</p></li>\n <li><p>Lifting and moving heavy loads.</p></li>\n <li><p>Reaching overhead and bending to load/unload materials.</p></li>\n <li><p>Operating in potentially noisy or dusty environments.</p></li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Additional Information</h2>\n<p>This job description is intended to be an accurate representation of the general functions of the job, rather than exhaustive list of duties, responsibilities, or experience.
