Practices under the supervision of the Nursing Manager/Director and has passion for learning, provides compassionate, and family centered care for Cardiac Care Center patients %0A %0A Job Specific Duties %0A%0A %0A Ensures completion of patient admission history and prepares and accurately completes the discharge planning process accurately as per department and Hospital policies and procedures. %0A Plans, implements, and documents the plan of care in collaboration with the other disciplines and services to assure safe and efficient care. %0A Provides nursing care that includes IV site monitoring, specimen collection, and assists medical team with specific procedures. %0A Follows physician’s orders, administers, and reconstitutes medications when needed. Adheres to six rights of medication administration per medication administration policy. %0A Collaborates and rounds with a multi-disciplinary team in daily care planning rounds, as appropriate, and fosters a Family Centered Care Environment. %0A Utilizes electronic innovations such as new telephones to provide efficient patient care and attends to patient call lights in a manner that promotes patient safety per Hospital policy. %0A Ensures proper and safe sedation administration to patients and monitors recovery as per the sedation policy and procedure. %0A Provides superior patient care by meeting attendance & communication standards. Ensures his/her behavior meets/exceeds acceptable service standards (SI scores).
