Our mission is to empower individuals to live successfully within their communities or independently, according to their personal goals.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span>Position Overview: </span><span>The Program Specialist at iHomecare Solutions is responsible for managing the care and casework for up to 30 individuals with intellectual disabilities and/or autism. This role serves as an immediate supervisor for Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) and plays a vital role in developing and overseeing individualized support plans (ISP) to ensure the health, safety, and well-being of residents. The position requires regular travel to residential homes and participation in non-traditional hours, including on-call duties.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span>Key Responsibilities</span></p>\n<ol>\n<li><br><span>Supervision of DSPs:</span>\n<ul>\n<li><br><span>Supervise DSP staff in residential homes, including training and, if necessary, issuing disciplinary actions.</span></li>\n<li><br><span>Provide guidance and feedback on staff performance related to resident care and ISP goals.</span></li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li><br><span>Individual Support Plan (ISP) Development:</span>\n<ul>\n<li><br><span>Lead and actively participate in the creation and maintenance of ISPs to meet individual needs.</span></li>\n<li><br><span>Conduct team meetings, write measurable goals, and monitor progress toward objectives.</span></li>\n<li><br><span>Coordinate timely completion of assessments and documents required for ISP review and revisions.</span></li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li><br><span>Documentation &amp; Reporting:</span>\n<ul>\n<li><br><span>Complete and submit quarterly reports based on staff documentation and progress toward individual goals.</span></li>\n<li><br><span>Ensure records are updated, accurate, and compliant with regulatory requirements.</span></li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li><br><span>Communication:</span>\n<ul>\n<li><br><span>Maintain regular and effective communication with family members, staff, county representatives, and healthcare providers.</span></li>\n<li><br><span>Relay updates related to ISP changes, health concerns, or behavioral needs to relevant team members and staff.</span></li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li><br><span>Staff Support &amp; Training:</span>\n<ul>\n<li><br><span>Collaborate with House Leads to ensure appropriate staffing levels and oversee onboarding activities for new hires.</span></li>\n<li><br><span>Provide modeling and support to DSPs in implementing ISPs, ensuring individualized choice and resident involvement.</span></li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li><br><span>Resident Care Oversight:</span>\n<ul>\n<li><br><span>Ensure the health, safety, and security of individuals and promote their participation in community activities.</span></li>\n<li><br><span>Monitor the use of adaptive equipment and provide relevant training to staff.</span></li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li><br><span>Compliance &amp; Regulation:</span>\n<ul>\n<li><br><span>Oversee compliance with all regulatory standards, including audits, QA&amp;I processes, and licensing requirements.</span></li>\n<li><br><span>Assist with unannounced visits and ensure all assessments, appointments, and follow-ups are conducted as required.</span></li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li><br><span>Site and Equipment Management:</span>\n<ul>\n<li><br><span>Oversee the upkeep of physical sites, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and functionality.</span></li>\n<li><br><span>Ensure adaptive equipment is present, well-maintained, and functional.</span></li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n</ol>\n<p><span>Qualifications</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><br><span>Education:</span>\n<ul>\n<li><br><span>Master's degree and 1 year of experience with individuals with intellectual disabilities or autism, OR</span></li>\n<li><br><span>Bachelor's degree and 2 years of experience, OR</span></li>\n<li><br><span>Associate degree and 4 years of experience.</span></li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><br><span>Certifications:</span>\n<ul>\n<li><br><span>CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).</span><br><br></li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span>Non-Essential Requirements</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><br><span>Must have access to a reliable vehicle for regular travel.</span></li>\n<li><br><span>Willingness to work non-traditional hours and cover DSP shifts as needed.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span>Physical Requirements</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><br><span>Ability to operate office equipment and communicate via phone and email.</span></li>\n<li><br><span>Able to lift up to 50 lbs as needed.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span>Work Environment</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><br><span>Primarily working in residential homes and office environments.</span></li>\n<li><br><span>Must be flexible with scheduling and on-call duties.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span>Benefits:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><br><span>Competitive salary</span></li>\n<li><br><span>Incentive and quarterly bonuses for eligible employees</span></li>\n<li><br><span>Flexible schedule options</span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><br><span>Paid Time Off after 1 year of employment</span><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span>Application Instructions:</span><span> If you are compassionate, dedicated, and motivated to help others, we encourage you to apply for this fulfilling role. iHomecare Solutions is an Equal Opportunity Employer.</span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span>Join us in making a positive impact in the lives of those we serve by joining our team.
