font-size: 13px\">Room patients.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13px\">Provide basic patient care as ordered by providers.  Administer medications, which may include subcutaneous or intramuscular injections, and treatments as directed by physicians or physician assistants.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13px\">Assist providers in performing exams, procedures and treatments.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13px\">Adhere to infection control and safety guidelines to include cleaning exam rooms between patients, sterilizing equipment and supplies, using germicides, sterilizer and autoclave.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13px\">Accurately and completely document assessments, interventions, patient/family responses, medications dispensed/prescribed and test results in medical record.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13px\">Observe patients and report adverse reactions to medication or treatment to medical personnel in charge.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13px\">May be required to perform phlebotomy duties.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13px\">Educate and instruct patients about self-administered medications.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13px\">Promote wellness by providing patient education materials, communicating physician advice/instructions.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13px\">Order, sort and store supplies and restock exam rooms.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13px\">Answer telephone calls and messages from patients to include relaying instructions to patients or family member and provide pertinent information.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13px\">Accurately relay prescription information to pharmacies.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13px\">Fulfill clerical responsibilities as assigned which may include sending or receiving patient medical records; obtaining lab, x-ray, hospital notes, referral information, etc.; completing forms for pre-certifications and/or pre-authorization for medication and/or procedures.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13px\">Ensure patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA guidelines.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13px\">Check and resolve assigned tasks in EMR program.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;
