OH and able to work full-time scheduled Sunday-Thursday 10PM-6:30AM with flexibility for longer hours based off of business and peak needs. </p><p><b>The Role:</b></p><ul><li>This Maintenance Technician II is responsible for maintaining facilities, material handling, and rolling stock equipment through troubleshooting and repair of all equipment, systems, and components necessary to operate this business and the facilities in which they are installed.</li></ul><p><b>What You&#39;ll Do:</b></p><p>· Troubleshoot and repair material handling equipment including conveyors, sorters, etc. Perform preventive maintenance, document all activities, and identify service requiring outside vendors and inform supervisor</p><p>· Troubleshoot and repair rolling stock equipment including lifts, cranes, bulls, etc. Perform preventive maintenance, document all activities, and identify service requiring outside vendors and inform supervisor</p><p>· Troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on facility equipment including HVAC, pneumatics, water, and hydraulics</p><p>· Maintain a safe working environment</p><p>· Report possible safety concerns regarding equipment</p><p>· Clean work area and maintenance shop</p><p>· Install safety fixtures, such as netting, wire mesh cages, etc.</p><p>· Mentor Technician I and perform all the duties of the Technician I</p><p>· Serve as a member of the Emergency Response Team for the facility.</p><p>· All other tasks as assigned such as maintaining company grounds, which include snow removal</p><p><b>Who You Are:</b></p><p>· Operate with the highest level of conduct, integrity, and confidentiality, setting the example for leaders and associates.</p><p>· Develop and nurture strong cross functional partnerships, driving business results and inspiring a culture of transparency, collaboration, and accountability.</p><p>· Serve as a Cart.com advocate in the industry and marketplace.</p><p>· Recruit, identify, develop, and retain talent that delivers performance excellence.</p><p>· Ability to balance a strong management presence with a high level of approachability, encouraging and eliciting associate feedback and interaction.</p><p><br /><b>What You&#39;ve Done:</b></p><p>· High School Diploma or equivalent</p><p>· 5 years of mechanical, electrical, and general maintenance experience in a distribution environment targeting one or more of the following: material handling equipment, powered lift equipment and facilities</p><p>· Strong diagnostic skills of powered lift equipment electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems</p><p>· 2 years actively performing preventive maintenance on material handling equipment</p><p>· Vocational training or technical certification in a relevant area preferred</p><p>· Knowledge of electrical applications up to 480 volts</p><p>· Strong mechanical abilities and knowledge of hand tools</p><p>· Knowledge of AC and DC circuits, wire guidance, hydraulics, and battery maintenance</p><p>· Working knowledge of programmable controllers</p><p>· Knowledge of carpentry skills, including woodworking, door repair, drywall, metal studs, floor coverings, wall coverings, concrete, basic electrical, welding and plumbing.</p><p>· Must possess a valid driver’s license</p><p><b>Physical Work Environment:</b></p><p>The physical demands described here are representative of those that are required by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.</p><p>· While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to talk or listen. The associate is frequently required to sit, stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel, as well as reach with hands and arms.</p><p>· The associate must frequently lift and/or move up to 15 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distant vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.</p><p>· Ability to work in an open environment with fluctuating temperatures and standard lighting.</p><p>· Ability to work on computer and mobile phone for multiple hours, with frequent interruptions.</p><p>· Required to travel in elevator or stairwells to attend meetings and engage with associates on multiple floors throughout building.</p><p>Currently, Cart.com does not intend to hire candidates who will need, now or in the future, Cart.com sponsorship through any non-immigrant visa category such as the H-1B, H-1B1, E-3, O-1, or TN.</p><p>All hiring is contingent on eligibility to work in the United States.
