Textron Specialized Vehicles Inc. is a leading global manufacturer of golf cars, utility and personal transportation vehicles, side-by-sides, all-terrain vehicles, professional turf-care equipment, and ground support equipment. Responsibilities:
Plan and direct activities concerned with development, application, and maintenance of quality standards for inspection
processes and materials. Conduct field audits and vendor evaluations and investigate manufacturing or field issues as needed. Develop and initiate standards and methods for inspection, testing, and evaluation. Maintain quality assurance objectives to maximize product reliability and minimize defects, field failures, scrap, and rework. Monitor, communicate and improve key supply chain KPI’s including parts per million (PPM), line disruptions and days to
close non-conforming material tickets (NCMT). Facilitate the deployment of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) in response to quality issues as well as customer
complaints through the coordination of cross-functional teams. Interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and
concrete variables. Seek and recommend ways to improve product and process capability based on company metrics. Provide technical support and information to other departments, vendors and customers as requested based on data
collected from company metrics, vendor metrics and inspection data. Lead small team of Quality Inspectors for assigned area to ensure processes are followed and production is supported.
