If so, <strong>Embark at Springville</strong> invites you to join our team as a Behavioral Health Technician, a key role in our trauma-informed,<strong> </strong>residential treatment program for adolescent girls.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Nestled in the serene beauty of <strong>Hobble Creek Canyon</strong>, Embark at Springville is more than a treatment center—we’re a healing community. We specialize in helping girls ages 12–17 navigate complex emotional and behavioral challenges, including trauma, anxiety, depression, and family dynamics. Our approach is <strong>family-centered, evidence-based, and deeply relational</strong>.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Support students in following their daily routines and activities with structure and encouragement</p></li>\n <li><p>Ensure alignment between student progress and individualized treatment plans developed by therapists</p></li>\n <li><p>Intervene promptly and effectively during emotional or behavioral escalations to maintain safety and stability</p></li>\n <li><p>Implement proactive crisis prevention strategies and provide crisis management when necessary</p></li>\n <li><p>Maintain consistent and thorough documentation and reporting of client interactions and incidents</p></li>\n <li><p>Uphold a safe, supportive, and therapeutic environment for all clients</p></li>\n <li><p>Engage in staff and house bonding activities to foster teamwork and community cohesion</p></li>\n <li><p>Perform daily light housekeeping tasks (e.g., sweeping, tidying common areas, dishes) to maintain a clean and organized living space</p></li>\n <li><p>Model positive behaviors and attitudes, reinforcing a healthy and constructive environment for clients</p></li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>What we are looking for:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Comfortable responding to high-acuity behaviors, including verbal/physical outbursts and emotional dysregulation.</li>\n <li><p>Strong emotional regulation and boundary-setting skills.</p></li>\n <li><strong>Willingness to learn!</strong> We understand not everyone has direct experience, but if you are skilled at boundaries, safety, and passionate about adolescent mental health, <strong>we encourage you to apply!</strong></li>\n <li><strong>Preferred</strong>: Experience working with adolescents in behavioral health, residential, or crisis setting.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Required:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>21+ years of age or older</li>\n <li>High School diploma or equivalent</li>\n <li>Able to pass pre-employment drug screen</li>\n <li>Able to pass criminal investigation background check</li>\n <li>Current driver's license</li>\n <li>Ability to learn CPR and First-Aid.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Benefits</h2>\n<ul>\n <li> <strong>Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance</strong> – Multiple plan options including PPO and HDHPs with HSA eligibility and company contributions.</li>\n <li><strong>Paid Parental Leave</strong> – Up to 6 weeks fully paid for exempt employees and 4 weeks for non-exempt.</li>\n <li><strong>Life & Disability Coverage</strong> – Company-paid life, AD&D, and long-term disability; voluntary life and optional short-term disability available.</li>\n <li><strong>401(k) with Company Match</strong> – Retirement savings with matching contributions after eligibility period.</li>\n <li><strong>PTO & Holidays</strong> – Competitive PTO accrual plans and paid holidays throughout the year.</li>\n <li><strong>Employee Assistance Program (EAP)</strong> – Free, confidential support for life’s challenges.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Embark is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.</strong> We are committed to enriching the therapeutic and healing experience we offer through the diversity of our employees and community.
