Also requires 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience. Agile experience preferred.  </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:</strong> </p>\n<p>Department of Defense SECRET security clearance is preferred at time of hire. Candidates must be able to obtain a SECRET clearance within a reasonable amount of time from date of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities for this Position</h2>\n<p><strong>ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES:</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>As a systems engineer for Space Force MUOS, you’ll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for defining, developing and sustaining enhancements to a live communication system.  We provide warfighters with a familiar cellular phone-like service, allowing forces on the ground to communicate directly with others at higher levels of quality and much greater capacity than available through the current system.</p>\n<p>The ideal candidate is a systems engineer with a strong software background and has experience on large solution programs which includes both Hardware and Software. We highly recommend you apply if you have any of the following job experience: Have worked as a Systems Engineer on a complex software system.
